3 straight short passes to Kerley that gain a few yards. 1 fake pass to Kerley that becomes a Tebow run for around 10. I thought that part of it was brilliant. The one thing I didn't like was the timing of the plays. It seems like the ideal WC situation is like 2nd and 5. I don't like seeing it for 3rd and 1s or 1st and 10s. Keep it away from the goal line. Tebow shouldn't really be our passing guy. Leave that to Sanchez. I kinda like the idea, but I think it has a ways to go before working properly. I just hate seeing Sanchez being taken out of rhythm.

Agree completely...for Tebow to run effectively, I believe he has to throw over the top, he has done it once (the Hill drop earlier this season). Defenses will not change much if all he is doing is throwing a 2 yard screen or diving up the middle.

As far as breaking any type of rhythm, that gate swings both ways for Tebow and Sanchez (though more so in Sanchez's case) Hell for that matter for the rhythm of the entire offense, it looks like a beginner trying to drive a clutch for the first time the way our offense is atm.

There was something kind of weird about it -- it wasn't really Wildcat. That was more of pure spread formation. And those passes to Kerley were akin to a bubble screen out of the spread.

Almost as if they're working on plays that could be part of a Tebow offense once it becomes obvious that Sanchez didn't pan out.

In terms of braking his rythem, it does 2 things, sometimes Sanchez makes a big play or he makes a boneheaded mistake after a Tebow play. It is 50-50.

I'd say that you are right and wrong. 1st and 10 is definitely the wrong time to bring the WC/Tebow in. 3rd and 1 and goal line situations, however, is exactly the right time for him.

The Hillman on 3rd and 2 and Greene on 4th and 1 were stupid calls. If you EVER need 2 yards, you give the ball to Tebow on both 3rd and 4th downs (if needed) and let him get those yards for you.

I've been asking for screen plays for Tebow for a while! Im glad they did it, if they wanna stick 8 in the middle move it outside. It keeps people honest and got a couple first downs. They need to use him every 3rd and 1 thou. The numbers advantage and his fb size makes it hard to stop. Use it until someone can prove they can stop it.
