I know this is "just an exhibition game", but does anyone living in the Philly area know what the weather is supposed to be like with tropical storm Ernesto moving that way? It isn't so much that they'd be playing in a storm, but I would think travel would be pretty difficult, if not dangerous, as well. Anyway, just asking.
The game is definitely going to be played. It will likely be played in the rain and it could rain heavy, but football is often played in deluges. As long as there is no cloud to ground lightning; the is the only time I have seen a pre-season game actually suspended just after half-time - I think it wa a bears game. Oh well, count on the game being played and wear a good raincoat.
Well it is probably going to rain where I live (2 hours north of Philly), so I assume it is going to rain down there too. It is probably going to be worse tomorrow though.
Actually, the Star-Ledger reported this morning that Mangini may play the starters longer than people anticipate. It cited particularly the need to see both Ramsey and Clemens behind the starting O-line in order to determine the "official" #2. In my mind, I can't see Mangini going with anyone else but Clemens there, but that's just my armchair head coaching.
and what if they played a game and noone came...?...NOTHING...its all sold out. I bet it doesnt draw more than 10k fans
