Honestly we could win every game remaining on the schedule, only worried about the Pats, Seahawks, and maybe the Chargers I see 7-2/ 6-3, this is pretty easy.
I also look at Keller not being healthy, a lot of drops, bad rushing, and the fact the Jets don't believe in screen passes/running back involvement. Yesterday Greene had more catches in the first half than he had all season. Since the San Fran game the young guys have been on the field more for defense and the rushing D has improved. So stopping Lynch - a straight north south guy should be a good match up for the Jets. Plus Ryan has never lost to a rookie QB coaching NY. You stop Wilson from completing a bomb, control Lynch, and I don't see him having much else. he isn't the kind of QB that will complete quick slants and out consistently.
we drop passes every week. we struggle to run almost every week. we dont throw screen passes because our QB and backs dont execute them well. - its only been 2 games since the san fran game, and one of those games was the colts, who are terrible at running the ball. the pats ran for 131 yards at a 4.6 clip. -lynch is far from just a north and south runner -"stop wilson and control lynch" you say that likes its easy.
Ryan has game planned every rookie QB perfectly. Luck looked lost against the Jets. Seattle is the worst passing offense in football...not even 135 yards per game. So yes I don't think it is hard to stop wilson who is all about hitting a bomb. They average only 16 points a game scoring so they aren't going to hit you for 40 points. Game comes down to not making stupid mistakes and not giving up points on special teams.
i see you left out stopping lynch there. cause that is so easy as well. they only score 16 game. true. but they also only allow 15 points a game. considering we have the 29th ranked offense id say its alot easier for them to "stop our run and forced sanchez into mistakes" then it is for us to "stop lynch and force wilson to make mistakes" they have a better defense, a better run game, are at home, and their qb is just as bad as ours(probably a bit better)
I just don't see us beating Seattle. This is a top notch defense, and I don't think we have enough weapons against a shutdown defense. Seattle may score very little, but I think we'll score even less. Interesting insight about ARI (Cardinals). That may be the case, and I hope it's the case for other teams as well. I think it could all come down to the Buffalo game...in Buffalo.
MIA - Win -Bye- @ SEA - loss @ STL - win NE - win (my wild card pick, we are at home and I just feel it ) ARI - win @ JAX - win @ TEN - loss SD - win BUF - win Optimistic 10-6 I'm seeing it this way. We Hung in there against the pats and Houston two of the AFCs best teams. If we beat the teams we are supposed to and pull out some tough wins (SD,NE,ARI) It is definetly possible.
If we win this week, which is see being a close game... I see 9-7 and the 6th seed in the AFC playoffs.
Seattle got crushed by San Fran???Really??? 13-6 is crushed to you??? then whats 34-0 mean, And Hasselback can make plays he beat the Steelers in a big Monday night game. And as far as Shotty and the Rams he has a ton of knowledge about our team and thats never good.Im not a Shotty fan but he is better then Sparano
Jets fans are always so optimistic....to those of you saying ur going to win easily this week im sure thought the same about the first meeting of the season which you should consider a gift. One decent LOSS against the patriots and all of a sudden jets are premier again...we shall see...
Wins against the Raiders, Bengals and Rams and suddenly the Dolphins are going to beat a team they already lost to at home? See how that works both ways?
I happen to think the Rams are going to beat the Pats in the UK this Sunday and will be a tough game for us as well.
I think he said: Sure we lost against the Jets but we always could put our hopes on the hanger "we could have won with a rookie QB who had a really bad day if not for the kicker". But it is still a loss. The Dolphins will be a well rested, well prepared and a healthy team come Sunday. Anybody who thinks it will be a cake walk for the Jets may want to rethink. I am not sure where that optimism comes from. Since we played each other the Jets are 1-3 and we are 2-1. But we'll see Sunday.
