Helll NO! Pefect example of a guy who is desperate! While there were no reports that Plax was the locker-room "Source" I bet he was part of the distractions last year. Hill already has 3 TD's and Im sure if he stays healthy he will eclips the 8 from Plax last year. We dont need this guy on our team.
You seriously need some reading comprehension courses. I said "PASS" meaning pass on getting Plaxico LOL.
I really don't see the need for any other WRs. I think we should live and die with the guys we've got. It's time for these younger guys to get it going.
Someone needs reading comprehension courses alright. Let me break it down for you. You seem to be claiming we don't have a QB to get the ball to Plaxico. Last year Plaxico was on the Jets. Last year Plaxico caught a bunch of redzone TD's and the Jets had the #1 redzone efficiency in the league. I am asking you if Plax passed those balls to himself. Or maybe Sanchez actually CAN get the ball to him. derp
So let me get this straight, you're breaking down all these things that happened last year? And what exactly do those things have to do with this year and this team? I'll give you the answer. NADA, ZILCH, ZERO. Your argument is so lame. And then you say," Maybe Sanchez CAN get the ball to him?" Last year has nothing to do with this year. And maybe he can't get the ball to him, right?? See how easy it is to play the hypothetical game? How about all those "on target" passes that you said Sanchez's WR should have caught?? LOL Stick to soccer, Ethel.
It was obviously a hypothetical question but I'm not surprised you failed to recognize that. Any reasonable person can see that there's no good reason to think Sanchez can't get the ball to Plaxico because the last time they played together he did in fact get the ball to him in the endzone frequently. Suggesting Sanchez can't get the ball to Plaxico is stupid. There's no denying it. Considering the source, I can't say I'm surprised. Why don't you tell us again how you're a big time coach, coach?
I would take him and just play him when we are in short yardage or redzone.. Like we should have last year. And he can run block really well.. He was 2 years removed from the league.. He needed more time... He has better hands then hill.. That's why he was so good because he is big and can catch.. I think holmes was more of a problem.
How did we get from Sanchez can get the ball to Plaxico to Sanchez is the QB of the future? Because I made a legit point and you can't defend your idiotic claim that we don't have a QB that can get the ball to Plaxico you are making the asinine strawman leap to LTJF thinks Sanchez is the future and attack the point that I never made. That was after you tried to change the subject by attacking my alleged lack of reading comprehension skills. Just stop, you are making yourself look silly. You're also borderline trolling at this point.
I love your backtracking skills. Let me quote you even though I don't how to use any of the damn features on this site. You said and I quote: "How did we get from Sanchez can get the ball to Plaxico to Sanchez is the QB of the future?" "get the ball to Plaxico you are making the asinine strawman leap to LTJF thinks Sanchez is the future and attack the point that I never made." Both of those quotes are your words. So please explain to me how in one breath you went from extolling Sanchez' ability to get the ball to Plax; and then you go on to say you never claimed that Sanchez was the QB of the future? Which one is it? If you think that Sanchez can get the ball to Plaxico then that would imply that you think Sanchez is the QB for this team and the QB of our future? Correct? It sounds like someone is talking out both sides of their *ss. Maybe that's not what you're claiming but it's hard to interpret those quotes any other way.
This message is hidden because JetsNation06 is on your ignore list. I've heard bad, and then I've heard him. "Durrr, Sanchez can't get the ball to Plax even though he did last year!!" Bahahaa. Go troll somewhere else.
Not really. Plax and hill are polar opposites. Plax has very good hands, no speed, and can not get separation between the 20's, but is a very good red zone threat. Hill has blazing speed, seems to have a knack for getting open, but to this point has questionable hands. I would not want play any where near our locker room, but to say they are similar is not exactly true.
I'm in agreement here. We haven't been given enough evidence to know he's locker room problem last season. There's a lot of assuming going on here because Plax wasn't going out of his way to make any positive public comments. At the same time, I'm also agree that Plax is not a good candidate to bring in. He's way past his prime & how long can he really be healthy/productive? He's a band-aid & not even a great one at that. Right move is to give young receivers some time to gel. Without Holmes, Hill/Kerley will get lots of opportunities to improve themselves for next season. ==== Also, with Keller & Greene contract status there's no guarantee they'll be Jets next season. Even more reason to make sure Kerley/Hill get those reps so they can get closer to taking more of a leading roles in next year's offense.
Thanks for providing tonight's comedy. And I thought that with the ability to make use of a computer and type with a keyboard would actually also require somebody to have a little bit of intelligence, but you just proved my assumptions false. Congrats
