If anything it would be to replace McElroy instead of Tebow. Greg just doesn't have the physical talents to play in the NFL. I like him but he has no to very little upside. If he had even an average or below average arm instead of no arm it would be different.

If O'Connell is signed, maybe Mcelroy will get demoted to the Practice Squad. Will be pissed if that happens.

 

I don't see them trading Tebow, they've spent so much time and effort building a system that includes him. Not to mention that he's actually been kinda useful. Unless Tebow has personally requested a trade to a team where he will get a chance to start, which isn't completely out of the question, I don't see them moving Tebow.

If we could move Tebow as part of a package to bring in a legit #1 RB I would be all for it. But as much as the Jags would love Tebow I don't see them moving MJD for anything but a major overpayment.

 

If the Jets could get that, they should take it in a second.

I don't think Jacksonville is giving up on Gabbart yet. I don't see a landing spot for Tebow where he would start. Realistically, the Jets have the philosophy of "Ground and Pound" and one of the weakest starters in the league. I don't see why he'd want to go elsewhere, or where exactly he would go to have a better shot at starting.

No way they trade Tebow at this point. He's had 3 successful fake punts already. He's making important, game changing plays for us and we haven't even fully unleashed him yet. Greene + Tebow for Jones-Drew would be awesome, but the Jags would never accept that. Plus if we pick up MJD we have to pay him premium dollar. Then we have no money to sign Revis back and make any FA moves this off season.

 

Didn't he come from the Pats, or am I mistaken. May have something to do with the timing.

 

One of the QB's could be banged up.

 

He must be really delusional to ask for a trade where he can start in the middle of the season, if I was his agent I would do it after the season.
