Powell is ruled out for Sunday with a dislocated shoulder and McKnight hasn't been ruled out yet with a high ankle sprain but its unlikley we will see him. So that leaves Greene and Grimes and running back and maybe even Lex Hillard at RB which they did when he was in Miami alot. Does this mean we will see more running plays from Tebow???
Greene def can't do it all by , maybe now is our chance to use Tebow at RB he would be our best option and he would kill as a RB, i can't belive we haven't even tried it yet, Tebow is 250 pounds why not give it a shot
The big question with running Tebow like a back is can he take a hit without coughing up the ball. The Pats knocked the ball away from him every time they hit him hard last year.
If the Jets somehow find a way to win this will definitely be one of Rex's most impressive victories to date.
Kerley to return kicks? I don't want to see Cromartie doing it. He's probably the better returner but if he gets hurt our secondary is screwed.
I wouldnt mind seeing Kerley used in the backfield like how Cobb is used in GB. He probably cant block but I dont trust any other RB catching the ball... Plus, Kerley is basically our best player on offense, so the more times he touches the ball the better chance we have at winning.
I'm not tons worried about it. Greene can do 32 carries again if needed. Perhaps more Tebow option plays with Kerley as an option but no need to actually use Tebow as the RB.
Greene can. Perhaps not as gracefully as others but he had 30 catches on 41 targets last year. Compare LDT had 42 catches on 61 targets last year.
I see this as an opportunity to see what we have in this kid Grimes we picked up from the Texans. They really tried to hide this young man from other teams so who knows maybe we will find a diamond in the rough. If he can be productive maybe we have a solid trade or Powell or McKnight can be traded at season end for a good player at a position of need, young LB or D or O linemen
Conor Orr tweeted that McKnight will play against Pats. Joe McKnight: "I'm playing. For first place, I'm playing."
