That's alright, when Wilfork takes some Jets player's knee out with one of his patented cheap shots, it will just be 'karma' for this thread.
Christ almighty. "Hot sauce", "sending Brady a message"... And to think some fans are clueless about why the Jets have had sh!t karma this year...
Don't go that far, though seeing a clean sack to an unknowing Brady from Landry would be awesome. Would love to see coples get a few good clean hits on him too. Him and Mo and going to be just as important as Landry in the box this game.
Laron should take a note from Nate Clements' book from back in the day: Should make things interesting
Right! This Wilfork is dirty stuff is funny, and completely contained in the minds of Jets fans. You never hear other teams players call him dirty.
He carried the dirty label well in the past. Maybe he's leaving it behind, but he used to be really bad and it's gonna stick even if he's stopped.
This year. How about 43 years? If fans saying dumb stuff had an impact on a team's success, my Yankees would have never won World Series. The Giants would have never won any recent Super Bowls and the Lakers/Celtics wouldn't own half the titles in the NBA
Love what Landry brings to the table. The key to the game is intimidating Tommy B, making him rush his reads and throws. The Patriot D is bad. If Sanchez doesn't implode, we should score enough points to win.
Throwing flashlight batteries at opposing players is so 1980's. I think Rex is onto something. From now on, throw bottles of hot sauce! Whoever bounces one off Brady's forehead (fivehhead?) Thanksgiving night will be declared the 'winner'!!!
It's not like the NFL ever thought Wilfork was taking cheap shots or anything: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2008/10/29/source-vince-wilfork-will-be-fined-not-suspended/
if youre shorter than 6'0 and try to do anything with the ball I want to see Dirty 30 hit you out of your shoes
Well I said before that post he had a dirty label a while ago and he lived up to so even if he is slowing down on the dirty play, the label is going to stick. It's how it works. You guys are acting like it's only Jets fans that believe Wilfork is considered dirty. Clearly he had a a label as one and it probably stuck.
Maybe Coples will get snap Bradys neck with another patented 'tackle via facemask even tho Bart Scott already has him by the jersey' sack. That's what I call the extra spicy picante sauce.
The best way has been and will always be , pressuring TB and keeping him guessing! No dirty plays no out to hurt anyone, just straight up football. As much as every Jets fan hates TB, what Jets fan would not have given up 3 whole drafts to have that SOB in a Jets uniform behind Mangold. Personally I will take one point win with everyone walking away in one piece to do it again on turkey day. I am done talking crap about the Pats, time for the Jets play to do the taking Like that kid from Seattle said, it a Team sport and not just one man. Yet it would hurt to make that one man's job as difficult as possible.
I don't have any doubt that the Jets will keep the passing game in check.I worry more about the running game. Can the DL continue to get off blocks to make things easier on the slow footed LB corps? To me that's the key.
