    The greatest player in Jets history without question was Joe Namath. One of the greates players in NFL history who as a beatin up warrior carried this team on his back to a SB. He was also the toughest player the Jets ever had.

    This is what angered me the most during Lamont's last couple years with the Jets. Year after year, Herm kept saying he was going to gat Lamont involved in the game more and year after year it seemed he was involved less and less.

    Like Legler said, I never wanted to see him starting over Martin, I just wanted to see a more creative game plan. He would have made such an effective change-of-pace to Curtis.
