I pick tomorrow night number 3....if LT and alexander go 1 and 2 do I take peyton and sort of chance it and take LJ??
yea no debate to it at all...thats money although you could make someone else very happy LJ went #4 in my league last night....which is an incredible gift 1. LT 2.Peyton 3.Shaun 4.LJ 5.Edge 6.Barber
this is the most pointless thread ever.. what kind of football "fan" needs help deciding on LARRY JOHNSON lol jeeeez
LJ went 3rd in my league the other day - needless to say it shocked me - at 3, you must take whoever is left between LJ, LDT and Alexander - I do understand being hesitant about LJ w/ the new OL -
I question LJ at #3. Folks, do we remember who his new head coach is? They're offensive line is injured and aging, plus their wide receivers stink! Teams will be stacking the box against them this season. I'd go Tiki at #3.
Yes, we don know who his new head coach is. It's the guy that has a habit of running his running backs into the ground, which translates into making them fantasy studs (i.e. Curtis Martin two years ago), and don't you think defenses were stacking eight in the box last year to try n stop him? See how well that worked?
The top 3 are the same everywhere, but get drafted in a different order.... Mine is as follows.... 1. RB S. Alexander 2. RB L. Tomlinson 3. RB L. Johnson If you can draft ANY of those three RB, you can't lose....
LJ is OVERRATED - there are going to be a lot of dissapointed fantasy owners this year. That o-line is falling apart and they lost the best run blocking fullback in the game. I would take Tiki.
I think Tiki is just as much of a risk as LJ. Tiki is also getting up there in age and they now have Jacobs who could start getting goaline carries. But like what was said above Herm is gonna run the ball and get LJ alot of carries.
He can easily pick up 7 yards on every 3rd and 10 draw play the run. That'll add up. Herm will run LJ 30+ times per game. Even if his yards per carry are poor, he will accumulate great total stats.
