Joe McKnight finally proved what we all always said he could do today,he had a huge 61 yard run and almost got the td,he proved that he is capable of breaking away and running down the field as a running back. On 4 attempts he had 73 yards, i just hope he finally gets more carries because he has such a diffrent skill set then Greene he is so quick and we need him to get more carrys in the future. Jets rushed for 253 yards thats ground and pound...on to Foxborugh....Greene for 15

Hope he's back for the Pats game!!! We finally started using him in something other than a Tebow after thought. McNight is the type of player that gives NE fits.
Ive been saying McKnight has huge potentiol since we drafted him, he shines on kick returns but maybe finally he might have enough confidence to be a great running back after today,and to think Rex wanted to move him to cornerback,as long as he doesn't fumble he will get more carry's espeically if Powell is out next week
The Jets need the ability to hit a home run on offense, and McKnight's speed is the best chance we have to do just that. I hope the kid gets the rock, very fast and has a nose for breaking big plays.
I am not sold on him. He ran through a wide open hole, and did what he does best. He did run into some, and bounced off that, to his credit.
And he hasn't shown to be very elusive in the running game, in the open field he is great, but making someone miss has been a challenge for him
He broke a tackle at the line of scrimmage .... so the hole wasn't totally clean. Kid made a great play.
he is brittle and i have to assume kinda stupid. he is a decent change of pace guy but i assume he cant figure out and block in the passing game.
The dude ran over a safety and kept going. It was one hell of a run. More of that and McKnight can be deadly, our Darren Sproles of sorts.
I cant stand seeing him run inside, he shys away from contact wasy to often and bounces around till he gets droped. If we get him into the open, he's a weapon, but yesterday was the first time this season, we were able to create enough space for him. And it's Westhoff, who makes those KRs happen, not McKnight.
Westhoff calls the plays and designs the blocking schemes, but it definitely is McKnight who makes the kick return happen. It's not just about calling the right play. It's also about having a kick returner who is explosive and can exploit those holes created.
Yes! Although, Sanchez either likes to throw it in the dirt or throw interceptions on screen passes, so maybe not :breakdance:
