why do you assume i'm from a younger generation? so what if i'm giving this team some credit? trashing them ain't gonna make a difference either
im not proud at all. we had a dozen chances to win this game, and didnt grab one of them. we left at least 12 points on the field. we turned it over in the redzone, again. we missed a cromartie TD when he burned the corner. we blew it inside the 5 again with 3 cracks at it. its things like this why, even if healthy, we werent a good team.
Wheres Herman Edwards when you need him, at some point Sanchez shoulda stopped trying to throw over JJ Watt, and if he would have thrown that ball to Cumberland lower that int would have never happend
I agree. This Sanchez-Tebow rotation is not confusing defenses, its only projecting our own indecision. He's thrown 2 passes for the season, it's no secret what he's going to do. Give him a full series so the defense has to actually think, or leave him on the sideline.
Special teams don't count now? Tell that to me in 04 with Doug Brien. Special teams is important and counts. You can't discredit a kickoff return for a TD because it fits your argument. Of course it made the game closer, it scored 6 points!
The redzone O is scary bad. Bad routes, tipped passes, predictable Wildcat runs. They panic and screw it up.
this game sucked. the defense wasn't awful but didn't set the offense up with good field position. the offense was terrible again. Sporano is really shitty and Sanchez once again played like an ass with diarrhea and no control of its butthole.
It doesn't add any value. Tebow could make some good runs, just let the guy be a FB. He made some great blocks for Sanchez. He's had a handful of good runs. Line them both up, let Tebow be a FB 95% of the time he's on the field and 5% do something confusing.
why is 3rd down where i'm at my most worried, and on 3rd and longs to boot? i really did think the jets would show up and possibly steal this game, it's pretty clear even though they were not blown out, you never had the feeling ever that the texans were in trouble of blowing a lead, they can move the ball whenever they want, and the jets have to have a miracle happen to sustain drives and score td's.
Steve Young is right. This is the best effort our team can possibly put forth. Cue rookie QB coming into our house to tear us apart
I honestly expected much worse, especially after Houston's opening drive. The defense was ok, nothing special but good enough to keep us in the game at least. Now if we only had a QB who could throw and a RB who can gain more than 2-3 yards.
This game was there for the taking and we threw it all away. So many mistakes, coaches and players alike. We WASTED two timeouts which could have given us a chance to drive at the end of the game. Fucking retarded all around.
Did you see the size of the holes foster had to run through? There were a number of runs that started with every single Jet lineman being blocked completely out of the play.
That wasn't Cro guy. He saw how open he was and took off over there. Look at it again before u open ur mouth.
Great game for Jet fans! I thought the Jets played a hard faught game to the end. A few plays could have gone the other way and the home team could have pulled out the victory. Good luck the rest of the way!
100% on that idiot Sparano. I give him at 50% of the blame for this loss. And speaking of that last drive ... I don't know if it's on Sparano or Rex, but how fucking stupid was it to run that play before the 2:00 warning?? Are you kidding me? We just took a sack to set up 3rd and 18 ... two plays left for us to stay alive ... and instead of taking the 2:00 warning to regroup, we try to squeeze in a play like a fucking fire drill! INT ... game over. IDIOT!
