The failures we see year after year have nothing to do with coaching and have nothing to do with talent. As much as I hate the Patriots they just have it in them. They have the push and the desire to win and that doesn't have to do with coaching or having 1st round picks. Bellichek is a tool but he is a good coach- however I don't think he's the reason why New England is so good. They just have the will to win. Brady cares, he won't ever give up- we saw that yesterday when they scored 31 points in the 4th quieter after being down two touch downs. Sanchez has no passion, he just plain doesn't give a fuck, and the only person on the whole team who had any will to become better was Revis who is now hurt. I miss the days of Martin, Chrebet and Mawae. The JETS are a attention whore team, they don't care about winning and they don't care about the game. They are miserable. The only reason that they picked up Tebow was to steal the newspaper headlines from the Super Bowl champ giants. Man I'm close to giving up on this team. What a bunch of losers with no drive..

This might be the least thought out post of the last 24 hours. The only person in this organization that benefits from headlines is Woody. Maybe Tanny as he reports directly to Woody. Rex tows the company line but you can't tell me he cares any less about winning then Bill, he just goes about it a different style.

wow, just horribly thought out post..

Pats come back had nothing to do with Bill's half time adjustments, or on field execution? I'm sure they just wanted it, and the Bills didn't. ridiculous man..

I don't think it is a bad post. He is frustrated like all of us. There is some truth in what he says. This team probably does care if they win, but they just suck at every position.

i'm with ya...he's as frustrated as the rest of us.

He does bring up SOME points that are fact, but really, this probably didnt need to be a thread and could have been a FB post.

there was a time, i assure you, when the Patriots were a doormat team, yes it was a long time ago, but they have not been the elite team they've been their whole existence.

this is also true...the steelers would be a good example...the pats lucked into a HOF QB that wasnt even intentional and combined that QB with a shitbag cheating coach.

That's a load of shit and you know it. Sanchez has the will and passion. How many times have we heard reports of Sanchez being the first one there in the morning and last one to leave? It's not that the team isn't trying. They are making mistakes and having difficulty adjusting to a new offensive system with key players out. If we had Dustin Keller, that's a completely different game on the offensive side of the ball. The defense did its job until they got worn out in the 2nd half because of our complete lack of offense.

LOL at this clown with Skip Bayless / Stephen a Smith level analysis. They played a terrible game. It happens. It's not that we didn't have the will power, the 49ers are just a much better team than we are right now. Why is everyone ignoring this very basic fact. They are the better team and they beat us badly.

Dude come on.. You really think he's the first to practice and the last to leave? If he is then he really sucks more than I thought. Brady was a 6th round pick but through hard work he got good. If Sanchez actually tried he'd be better. His decision making and the offensive calls suck. And the wildcat.. Don't even get me started on that bull shit

Yeah that's exactly what happened. These guys get paid whether they win or not. Your telling me Fitzpatrick practically losing 80% of his games aster he got his contract was a coincidence.

No. He was just never good. Fred Jackson getting hurt and a few other injuries took their not so talented team and made it worse. Fitz sucks that doesn't mean he doesn't want to win. He was just lucky that he tricked the Bills GM into thinking he was better then he is.

Tebow is the perfect example of this last year. He sucked- he really did. But he had drive and they won games. Now he's a back up and they won't ever let him throw the ball just like when we had brad smith. I bet you the jets would have a decent season with Tebow at the helm just based on his attitude. Some teams might be down by 17 points and push till the last second to score. If the jets are down more than 10 points going into the 4th quarter you might as well shut the tv off bc u know they gave up

Fitz started off 5-2 last year. Threw for 1,739 yards, 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Then as soon as he got his contract he threw for 2,093 yards, 10 touchdowns and 16 interceptions with a record of 1-8

    This statement is totally wrong.

The network carrying the game will switch to a more competitive game for you.

And that's why Tebow should have started the 4th quarter...ratings!

Fun facts: 18 of 32 teams have won the Super Bowl in its 46 year history. Of those 18 teams 11 have won more than 1 and 8 have won more than 2.

The teams that have won more than 2 Super Bowls make up 33 of 46 Super Bowls (72%).

We say about how much of a failure the Jets are as a franchise, but you take the fact that 14 teams have won less SB than the Jets and 6 have won just as many and we don't look so terrible.

Believe it or not, the Jets have also been one of the more successful teams in the league over the past 15 years. Sure we have no championships to show for it and sure we have heartbreak after heartbreak, but there are plenty of teams who are worse off than us.

Yes I miss the days of mediocre records with players like Chrebet and Mawae too.

Sure they were nice players to root for but the 2 Rex AFCC teams to me were the most exciting years I have ever seen.
