I agree with Brunell, it is the roster and not the coaching. Although the coaching is not helping, and probably Cavanaugh is still a problem with Sanchez.

Everybody complained about Schotty last year. Well he's gone, and how is the team doing?

The problem remains - Tanny has sucked at managing this roster. And Sparano has been no improvement over Schotty. I have a hard time blaming him (although what's with calling for a pass on third and one when Sanchez can't anything and they're in FG range??? But I digress) when he's got the likes of Shonn Greene and Mark Sanchez to work with.

Again, who is this talent we are so quick to pass over? If the talent was so much better, then it would be evident and easy for you to identify. The CS is made up of many people with more years evaluating talent than you probably have, so i trust their judgement. If they are missing something, i hope they figure it out soon. I would just like to knw who you speakk of.

Me either. The week Tim came on board I downloaded and watched Hard Knocks and wondered, 'Why do people think Mark is a good leader'.

I also wondered why not winning our conference is adequate to many Jets fans.

Not just Revis. With the loss of Holmes they have now lost their best player on both sides of the ball.

Call me a fool but I still believe Rex will turn this team around. Don't think it'll start against a SB worthy Houston team this Sunday but he'll find a way to rally them & close out the season on a positive note. 8-9 wins is still possible.

I don't think it's a question of control, but talent and depth.

Next Monday will tell us all we need to know.
If they're competitive and actually are IN the game (read: not embarrassed), I'll say Rex has a handle.
If they lay down like dogs on MNF, it is over for these guys...players, coaches and management.

Ive said this too much already but I honestly think its 100% true. Rex lost this team last year. Wwe all know that. He admitted it himself in saying he had no idea what was going on in the lockerrroom.

And I dont think he got this team back. Its very hard to do so. I dont think the message is getting through. I htink his "buddy" approach worked at first but has now blown up in his face.

3 years ago, all I heard was players saying how much they LOVE playing for Rex and how hes the man and they would run through brick walls to play for this guy.

Does anyone see any player on this team playing as if that is still the case? Does this teamever come out firing on all cylanders( yes, once, against Buff). Does this team ever show the slightest amount of discipline? Does this team ever show that they are fighting for their coach?

It seems to me that everyone knows theres no accountability. No one is gonna hear from the coach that they suck when they do. Nothing.

Let me ask you this questions. Answer honestly. Is there a single person on this board that would rather have Rex as their coach instead of Tom Coughlin?

I pick coughlin because of the style of coach he is. Not cuz hes the Giant coach or anything like that.

    Not So Sure

Revis never threw a touchdown pass or ran for over a hundred yards. Its about offensive flow and getting the ball in the end zone. The Jets have too many 3 and out series and Sanchez reverted back to his turnover days. Right now the offense is in flux and just not playing well. many factors included in that problem. One no wide receivers other than Holmes. Two no TE other than Keller. Three no holes for our running back to get thru I mean its is almost impossible to gain a yard. Four the inaccuracy of out QB and this one is twofold and alot of the blame is on Cavanaugh for not getting this guy going.

I Do Not Want To Hear Anything Else About Jets West

Sanchez little get away with the receivers. Its been going on for at least 3 years with zero results. You would think it was help sync up the passing game between them but it has gotten worst each and every year. Sanchez missed Holmes very badly on 2 passes yesterday. I also do not know what to think about Turner. He has been here 3 years at least and just can't crack the rotation. He more than anyone should know every Sanchez idiosyncrasy. Time for a new direction.

I did vote NO, but not because of the lack of control.

You just do not win Kentucky Derby on a donkey. Jets are FILLED with donkeys. With that Nacho of a quarterback to boot.

And before I forget: Fuck you, Cav. Just die in a fire, bitch.
