Peyton Manning could not turn the Jets current WR's and TE's into anything worth watching. He wouldn't be getting any more out of Shonn Greene. This offense just disgusts me. It has no play makers who scare the other team even when Holmes and Keller are healthy. The backs are as weak a group as the Jets have put on the field since 2005. This is 2012. You either run a spread or control the game in other ways with a strong diverse attack. The Jets don't have the personnel to run a spread and their idea of diversity at this point is whether they throw a slant to the SE or the FL.
Do you realize that we can't find any type of run game because there is no fear of our quarterback? Also, I don't think Greene is even the best RB on the team. Watch when we try and run play action, even if we start to get on a role. The defense doesn't even care, they know if you hurry Sanchez, he will fuck up. The kid can not throw down field, and thus brings the whole defense up. That means the safeties as well so even if Greene does find a hole the best he is going to do is 5 yards. Putting Tebow in would be even worse. I don't know how to be anymore clear than we have no chance at a running game if the other team doesn't respect our quarterback.
