So, are we rooting for the Bills this week?

Bills vs Pats in Buffalo this week. The Bills are tied with us at 2-1, and the Pats are 1-2. Another loss for the Pats could be devastating. I do think the Bills are much improved this year, but I'm still rooting for them to stick it to the Pats. I'd rather see the Pats lose more now, because they could easily make up for it later, whereas the Bills might not. Big game for the division coming up!

It's definitely a bizarre situation. I think I'd be cheering for the Bills because, like you said, the Pats have a much better chance of winning games later on to make up ground. The Bills typically fade as the season goes along, so even if they get ahead of us in the standing we can still catch them.

This is all based on the premise that we have even the tiniest chance at winning the division which, realistically, I don't believe will happen.

That and it would be pretty hilarious to watch Pats fans reactions or watch all the people jumping off the bandwagon if they end up 1-3. Bills fans will obviously over react the other way which will just make it funnier when they fall back down to earth as usual.

Ha, if the Pats start 1-3 suicide rates will be on the rise in Boston. If we lose to San Fran, a win for the Bills brings them into first, while a win for the Pats ties it all up again. Normally I'd take the tie, but it's the Pats, so go Bills!

I'll be cheering for the Jets on Sunday. Have to take care of your own house.

The Pats would have to start a lot worse than 1-3 before I thought they wouldn't still make the playoffs. They lost to 3-0 Arizona and Baltimore on what may have been a bad call..it's not like they lost to Miami and Buffalo.

Definitely rooting for the Bills. Pats at 1-3 would be hilarious. If they can rush the passer and get to Brady all day they might be able to win at home. Their secondary is pretty terrible though.

First and foremost if the Jets don't win it doesn't matter.

Let's not be fooled, the pats are still clearly the team to beat. They will still end up w/ around 12 wins so any losses they can pile up will be huge, we need to root for Buf this week.

    Hell Yeah!!!

We have already beaten them once so the absolute worst we can do is split with them. As for N.E. We still have to play them yet and I would like them to be as far back (in the division) as possible when we do.

Want to back that up with some evidence?

Anyway, the Bills' next 2 games are against New England and San Francisco. I expect them to lose both and be 2-3.

Rooting hard for Buffalo this week. Hoping Williams is hitting Brady all day long.

    Well last year.

    2010 you just sucked.

2009 weren't you 4-4 or 3-3 looking at .500 and then finished last at 5-11?

2008 season you started 3/4/5-0 and faltered.

im rooting for the bills just so i can taste the tears of the pats fans as they cry 'to the bills?!?!?!'

if the pats lose 3 in a row, then they will be in a truly bad spot. hell i think this is the first time they lost 2 in a row in a really long time. if they lose 3, well, it would just be great. i also live in massachusetts right now so i have the added benefit of getting to see the looks on their faces haha.

Definitely the Bills. Jets can be a game behind the Bills going into Week 17 with destiny in their own hands in a tiebreaker scenario vs. the Bills. If the Bills win this week and the Jets can somehow manage a split with the Pats and take care of the Fish at home than all the tiebreaker scenarios would favor the Jets going into Week 17 against both the Bills and Pats.

Definitely the Bills. I still think NE winds up with at least 12 wins, but how great would it be to see them sitting at 1-3?
