I hate to tell you but the Jets didn't have a very good record against Miami prior to this game. Based on recent history the Dolphin should have beat us today. Cudos to the Jets for hanging in there after losing Revis, which must have been very demoralizing to the team in realtime. A win is a win is a win... The Jets are 2-1 and that's all that matters. On to the San Fran game, which has a whole new set of circumstances of it's own.
We can beat any team in the league, that's the nfl, anything can happen i trust the offense will go back to its best form agains sf go jets!
It means we're 2-1 in a league where any team can beat any other team in a given week. There's A LOT for this team to work on, but I ain't gonna bitch about a win. Positives to take away from this game... - Sanchez clutch down the stretch. - Holmes had one of his best games as a Jet. - O-line, which looked awful in the pre-season, playing solid football. - Bilal Powell emerging? - Now 2-0 in the division.
All you can say right now is the Jets are 2-1 with both those wins coming against division rivals. That is a good thing, not a bad thing.
we have a good record against west coast teams flying to the east coast to play us at home don't under estimate that effect. There gonna be a long way from home in east coast time, hopefully it will be cold out
We gotta grind the season out this is gonna happen we can win 10 games but we will have ugly games like this hopefully the offense progresses
Glass half empty: The Jets are 2-1 in perhaps the weakest division in the AFC. This is a good thing only if the Jets can continue beating up on weak AFC teams. We're 0-1 against the upper echelon.
if we have Keller back that will change alot of our flaws on offense, and if Shonn Greene retires will be even better
We could possible luck out and only lose Revis for a week or so. If we have to lose him I would actually rather it be against San Fran than Houston, Indy, or New England where we'll need him much more.
The win means we're in control of our division. The win means that we don't go into a brutal stretch with a losing record. The win means I won my bet. This win means a lot. We can definitely win one of the next two games. I predict the SF game will be slightly easier to win.
Weakest division? You remember that the AFC also has a southern division, and three of those teams are starting a rookie or a 1-year veteran at QB.
I'm with you on this one. A win is a win is a win. If there was a forum during the Revolutionary War, a bunch of these people would be griping cuz we didn't fight as pretty as the Brits did. LOL - but we won didn't we!!
The Jets are trying out a bunch of new players in real NFL games now. Hill, Schilens, Powell, Coples, and several other players that we haven't seen before. They're trying to get these new players on the field and win at the same time. There will be synch problems and miscommunications. Right now the Jets are 2-1 in spite of it, and that is a good thing.
I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss. However, the Jets need to improve and play better. They are VERY lucky that the Fins played horrible at the end of the game. This type of game play is not acceptable, especially when they host SF and Houston in these next 2 weeks.
whats with all the dam negativity? were 2-1 in first place heading to week four. yes it was an ugly game but isnt it always when the jets and dolphins meet? with a tough schedule coming up and a competent OC i think sporano will make the right adjustments to get this offense back on track.(please come back keller) but to all you people who are quitting on the team...please dont try to come back when we win the division. once a jets fan always a jets fan....i hate fair weather fans.
