I live outside of Indy. I have an acquaintance that works for the Colts and has for more than a decade. I'll just say that Manning really did some "jerk" things to this acquaintance of mine. It was pretty bad. Manning is not the squeaky clean image that everyone thinks he is. It got pretty bad and I quit cheering for Manning even though the Colts are my favorite team. I've followed Manning very closely his whole NFL career. But from all the rumors and the story I heard, the guy has really let arrogance get the best of him in the way he sometimes conducts himself off the field. When the camera is on, Peyton is the perfect guy. I hope Peyton has gotten better in some areas of his personal life and hope he's matured. So I don't cheer for Manning due to how he treated this acquintance of mine. And I really liked Manning before I heard the stories.
As far as play goes. Manning is getting older. His feet are much slower, His reactions will be slower and his throws will have less on them. So to make Manning the second highest paid QB in the league does not make sense to me. Manning is still very good, but you have to overpay to get him on your team (19 million I think this year). Because he is older and slower, we will see more games like last night. But he will have some great games as well. Also, I will say, Peyton was the best regular season qb ever, but his performance went way down during playoff games. He had some really bad games when the Colts were considered the team to beat in the playoffs.

I don't think Peyton is all the way back yet. He throws some Tebow-like passes. Even when he sets his feet and puts some muscle into the throw, they come out like ducks.

Of course, the sample size is still too small to tell but I'd put my money on Peyton.

Browning should Tebow have stayed in the game a bit longer against the steelers last week?

I am just curious to see how far your bias goes...

Manning has always thrown a lot of ducks. Accurate ducks, I should add, but wobbly ducks nonetheless. In contrast, IMO Vick throws the best looking pass in the NFL. Crazy how he just zips it so quickly with a perfect spiral.

I think he's wondering why Phaytal doesn't like him in this picture.

Coming from you that means I must be doing something right, if you get a little better at your craft of annoying Tebow fans I might actually laugh and think of you with each painful Broncos loss.

Should Dallas have pulled Romo last week, after getting embarrassed by a very bad Seahawk team?

I'm just curious if you know a fucking thing about football.

Yes Tebow was upset at losing a game that would have led to his third national title in 4 years. Something that your Peyton Manning never even dreamed of coming close to. Peyton was 0-4 vs the Gators, I don't even know if he ever even won a conference let alone a national title.

I know what your saying. Vick's passes look effortless yet he zips those passes. RG3 is like that too. They throw beautiful spirals every time and they never lack velocity.

If you make a big hoopla about bringing Tebow to the jets, creating plays for him, warning the opposition about them, then in a perfect situation where the passing offense is 6 of 22 for 58 yards you do bring him in ...then the offense proceeds to go 3 plays and net 27 yards (half as much as 3 full quarters of play in 3 plays!) asking if he should have stayed in a bit longer is a legitimate football question because of how the team is set up.

You are letting your personal bias get in the way again and it shows .

Dallas is not set up that way but to answer your question more clearly. I would rather direct snap the ball to Demarco Murray 40 straight times than have Kyle Orton enter a game as a Dallas Cowboy QB.

Please stop comparisons with Tebow to any established QBs, we get it, some folks have crushes on Tebow. Hell, I am one of them.....but this is absurd.....stop comparing Tebows limited snaps to Sanchez, stop comparing Tebows limited resume with anyone who has been a starter in the league for what, over 3 seasons?

It is comments like these that drive Jet fans nuckin futs, same with the Bronco Fans last year........

I hope Tebow does well, I like the way he carries himself, represents the Jets, and that we dont have to worry about him and DUIs, drugs, or guns in his near future. Other than that, he is just a magnetic cog in the big Green Machine

No I dont think so. The Jets punted way too many times for my tastes. Tebow did a nice job protecting though. When Tebow sees the field is when the Jets are punting, so NO I don't think he should've stayed in longer.

Oh wait- that's not my real take...

I appreciate that you are interested in my opinion, but I'll discuss Jets matters with Jets fans, not Cowgirl fans that deep down are rooting for my team to fail so he can see his boyfriend play more. Talk about bias!
