His bell was truly rung and he was missing blocks afterwards. Besides Powell was looking good and bringing a different dimension to the offense.

Yeah, he looked like shit when he came back in. Powell did look good in limted action but I think Greene getting KO'd was a big loss for our O. He was looking very good up to that point.

He also got called for a holding after he came back in.

He was terrible when he came back. Terrible to let him keep playing.

I like SG, but I think he'll be a better contributor as a complimentary piece instead of the 'feature' back. Durability is always going to be a factor as well...

Thanks to the Jets illustrious player personnel department, they went into the season with virtually nothing at the RB position...a position which has more than its fair share of injuries. Can't wait to see what kind of atrocities the second half of the season brings when injuries really start to pile up.

I thought it was irresponsible for the Jets to bring him back in and I hope they get fined for it.

Powell was looking pretty good, and at that point they should have used Tebow more.

Powell will be the starting back by game 4 or game 5

    Book it!

Agreed. Instead, they played an ineffective Shonn Greene, and the running game fell asleep. It was such a putrid effort.

This was painfully obvious, not to mention as stated Powell was looking good. There was no reason to bring back Greene and the coaching staff should have realized that soon after the second half started. This was a big mishap in my opinion, I had no desire to see Greene out there anymore.

    I learned (actually already knew)

    Tackling is important
Greene is not a feature back
Sanchez needs time in the pocket
    Turnovers kill you
3rd down conversions kill (or make) a team
    Drops kill you

Bilal Powell needs to see the field more. During this game, he made an actual NFL cutback move and an actual NFL spin move, 2 more moves than Shonn Greene has ever made in his career.

In all seriousness, I think it's plain to see Greene is not a 25 carry guy. This needs to be at least a 50/50 split with Powell.

I would have liked to have seen Powell get some more carries. He looked pretty good while he was out there and I agree, it was irresponsible of the Jets to get Greene back on the field. I'll have a hard time being convinced he did not suffer a concussion.

Powell went over the D to get a few more yards

Greene runs into Mangold and Moore and then falls, straightline runners are not lead backs

Powell looked way better. I was surprised to see Greene back in the game and taking carries from Powell.

I thought Powell looked good as well. You could tell the difference in the athleticism right away. Hopefully, the Jets will try to give Powell more carries in the future.
