Kerley is going to be the X factor. Not just in the punt game, but he can make a huge difference since I don't think the steelers are deep at corner.

Keller has had some great games. We're better off with him than without him.

    Yep.

Wish Keller were playing. However, I'm not convinced Cumberland can't do a good job in his place. Keller isn't a good blocker, and Cumberland has shown some ability as a pass catcher.

It hurts the depth, and it hurts in terms of experience against a tough defense. If Keller were going to get hurt, I wish it weren't for this game because it's a tough game to make your first start against. But I think he can do a solid job for us.

Would much rather have him out there, but I think Cumberland can fill his role well.

Cumberland might turn out to be the better TE and the new guy we got from the 49ers is also fairly athletic. Epps is back with the team as well.

Killer-Keller just might be sick due to his contract status. Who knows?

you think he is playing hurt because Tanny didn't give him a contract extension? How is he supposed to get paid the big bucks this offseason (either by the Jets, or anyone else) if he cant get on the field and prove he deserves big money?

Kellers days are done as a Jet. Hes a good player {catching anyway} but i don't see the jets tying up money in that position. He'll get an offer, but a nicer contract somewhere else (hopefully the nfc). I can see Cumberland taking his spot and the jets late drafting a blocking te with mediocre hands or signing a FA [ ie, the Miami jaloppo]

I'd be alright with his underwhelming production if he could block better

These guys that are injuried need to come back at 100% or they will pay in the long run and be out for a better part of the year, which is something we can ill afford with just about EVERYBODY at every position
