If the media a consistent, then they will have to declare that Tebow routed the Bills. Isn't he the superstar on this team? He gets all the attention as if he is.
They'll be talking about Tebow, but it will be about why he should be used very sparingly in the future, barring a significant play soon. He's had zero impact today.
Now, what might happen is that there will be a full page head shot of Tebow, under a headline reading "Jets rout Bills"
That or a picture of both Sanchez and Tebow. The point is that #15 will make it into the headlines somehow (. Now instead of the theme being "Jets get off to a slow start, time to start Tebow?" it'll be "Jets can't sustain winning ways, time to start Tebow?" when they lose their first game. I would've loved to see this whenever someone started a "Let's look at this particular stat/highlight/NFL players' poll/tea leaves and use it as evidence to justify how great Tebow is"
Sorry but this is a Jets victory and not time to go at Tebow because you are a Sanchez fan. if they brought in any other QB to back up Mark, you'd still be anti- whoever that QB was. Its getting old! This is a team game and tebow did whatever was asked of him by his coaches. if you disapprove call WOODY JOHNSON and apply for Tanny's job! Until you are the GM can we show some respect for all JETS players please?
I dunno what channels your watching , he might be over covered but no one declares him a Super star in fact 97% of all football analyst rip him without mercy , saying thngs "from he can't throw " to "cut him now ". Don't mistake over coverage for positive coverage .
I'm not anti-Tebow at all. In fact, I really like Tebow and I think he can contribute to the Jets in a very positive way. You just didn't get the joke along with several other posters. Tebow clearly was NOT the star of this game, although he did play and contribute towards the victory. I was trying to poke fun at the news media who write articles about Tebow if he sneezes. Get it?
what's funny is all ESPN does it discuss tebow for months at end yet the first regular season game and he didn't do anything to contribute. i wonder what they'll do. probably dissect every tebow running play.
NFL.com has a Tebow highlights video for today wtf! Sometimes I think they do it on purpose to spite people.
