the other part of this is the press here has become a such a force they feel it is their job to scorch players/teams/coaches and to get them run out of town.you see it in their articles where they readily admit they will take someone to task the first time they slip up.the media is now more then a source of info it is a factor in the way sports are managed
NY has always been a tough town - it's the 2nd largest media market in the country, and not only will every little thing be scrutinized, every little thing will be blown out of proportion. Frank Sinatra got it right...if you can make it there...
