With this coming out supposedly being announced next week how many of you guys will be getting it? I'm due for an upgrade on October 1st and put away 200 bucks for a new smartphone. Anyone else going to be getting this or should be looking to getting the galaxy 3 even though they ripped off Apple.
I was leaning towards getting the 5 myself. Just wanted other's opinions. My girlfriend has the 4 and loves it. The 4s is basically the same phone as the 4 with the expection of Siri which i don't need.
i need to see the details.i have the 4s and love it. im nowhere near an upgrade so it has to blow the 4s out of the water.definitely needs better battery life for starters
Still rocking the 4s on the 3G. So unless the Ip5 is a true 4G phone, there's really no need for me to upgrade mine.
I'm ready for a new phone. My plan is up at the end of the month and my wife and I have decided to cross over to the dark side and get Iphones.
the rumors i've read about it online say the 5 is suppose to make the leap to 4g. With Sprint making the leap to having 4g lte network in my area where I live I was leaning towards that.
I have a Droid Bionic. I could never go back to a smaller screen size. (I never had an iPhone, but I did have a palm pre).
The 5 will obviously be 4G LTE on Verizon/AT&T, don't know about Sprint. Also, the screen will be a smidge bigger apparently, from a 4:3 ratio to a 16:9, while keeping similar pixel density. 4.0"
I have a 4s, and love it, but I'm nowhere near an upgrade. I might just wait until Iphone 6 comes out or an android phone. While I'm tempted to go for new toys, I just don't think the upgrade is going to be worth the money when it comes down to it. There is only so much you can do with a phone, even if it's like a mini computer in your pocket.
Plus the phone is thinner and will come equipped with a smaller port for charging. So all you old connectors will be useless unless you get the adapter. Also the headphone port is moving to the bottom.
Can you clarify? I thought data caps/tiers were set up the carrier i.e. Verizon, Spring, AT&T not the phones.
