I love Big Bo as much as the next guy, but could this be a blessing in disguise with the emergence of Kenrick Ellis?

Blessing is the wrong word, as they will rotate anyway. I hope he is okay. I think Pouha still has a shot to play though. Its Monday folks.

with the Bills spread offense, Po'uha probably wouldn't have been on hte field that much anyway. When the Jets go to the nickle/dime Pouha generally comes off of the field

I brought this up more because I thought it might be good to see a lot of Kenrick Ellis in the first game, real speed. If he flashed, then we would see more of him during the rest of the season. I would definitely not want Pouha out, but him being out could get Ellis more playing time during the rest of the season.

You can't lose a guy like SP and feel good about it.

Ellis will get the job done, I'm sure of it.

I'd rather Pouha sit now then try to play and aggravate it even more.

    Boooo----aahhhh.

    Damn,
Considering the cuts of Tevaseu and Dixon adds to the little dilema but, we got younger @ the line the past 2 seasons so we should be ok.

Also, Devito should be back to 100%

    This.

Pouha is a very good player. If this were week 11 and Ellis was killing it, and Harrison/Aatui looked good, too, then maybe it would be a blessing in disguise.

But not in week one. I like Ellis a lot, but I'd rather see him with more regular season games under his belt before he is starting for Pouha.

Presumably we will play a lot of 3-4 AND a lot of 4-3 this year..we will also have a lot of times we are showing 5 man fronts..I don't know what those packages will consist of but it will never be good not to have both available..never.

    agreed...

if he needs to sit out the first game to make sure he's 100% then so be it. there would be nothing worse than him playing week 1 and him having a setback for 4 - 5 games.

Bo is Po'uha's nickname. His surname is pronounced Bo-ou-ha.
