possibly...if he was dangled for something reasonable i'd pull the trigger on lechler in a heartbeat. in the case of this team paying a bit more than average for a punter would be a wise investment.
I read an article about him, and reports are that he is really inconsistent. Yeah. If a bunch of fans on a message board are discussing a 7th rounder, I'm sure there are a lot of executives thinking the same thing. Raiders might actually benefit with a little bidding war here. Only takes one team to drive up the price.

Yeah, and given how many close, defence-oriented games we'll need to be in if we're going to make the playoffs, this team could use a really good punter. Helps mitigate the damage caused by inevitable 3 and outs.
