Yes it matters. NFL Network is carrying the game live nationally. Can't wait to see where this team is at.
Recievers missing. No game plan against a fierce pass rush. I expect another Sanchez sack fest tonight. I know teams don't normally game plan in the pre-season but this Jet team should be - they need some confidence and they needs some things to go their way. Going out and getting clobbered by the Giants won't help anybody.
So then, you would rather listen to a Jets Homers broadcast than a Giant Homers broadcast? That's not saying a lot for any broadcasters doing this game. If the Jets are the home team, you should get the home broadcasters. Hope that helps. I wonder why there's always so many SOJH's at the start of the season, then they vanish towards midseason only to reappear at the end of the season when this team is fighting for its playoff life usually due to their own doings.
I'm as positive as any Jets fan around here, but it's a fair point- the Giants' pass rush made their defensive deficiencies significantly less noticeable in the playoffs last year, and the offensive line hasn't done well stopping the pressure at practice or against the Bengals.
What you stated is a fair point. ledgejumping negative, pessimistic rookie dark sider trolls who run around whining about the sky is falling and the jets are gonna get "clobbered" deserve to be mocked for their sad little posts.
I really don't care who the fng broadcasters are. i'm mostly psyched that the game is on NFLN Live. +I have sirius NFL and can listen to the home and away broadcast if the NFLN broadcasters suck.
Since it's an NFL broadcast game I think they'll just show a NFL Network telecast on Channel 2, the way they do for all other local games on the NFLN. That won't change just cause Cablevision is getting the network now, they still have to show local games even if you don't get the NFL Network.
I think the CBS broadcast is a legit CBS/Jets broadcast. The NFLN broadcast will be a regular NFLN broadcast. The only reason I say that is because neither MY9 or Fox are showing the game for the Giants.
I'm just hoping to get the full game this week as last week the first quarter was preempted for the Falcons game here in Comcast Country!
