As per ROTOWORLD ESPN New York doesn't project WR Chaz Schilens to crack the Jets' 53-man roster. Schilens provides veteran depth for a receiver corps severely lacking in it, but was rarely dynamic in four injury-plagued years with the Raiders despite being billed as a big-play threat. For what it's worth, coach Rex Ryan said Schilens "jumped out" at him early in camp.
that's interesting...and as it stands now i find it doubtful he gets cut. if the jets plan to cut him may as well do it now and bring in sims-walker.

That was a NICE play. He did a great job adjusting to body to get better position on the ball than the defender.
Saw it on tv, it looked like they rolled around and it landed in his lap. Seeing it on youtube I have no issue conceding that im wrong. Although it still is against a backup defense. I wanna see Braylon do well, but hes got to prove alot more after least year
People expect Holmes since he is the #1 wide receiver to play like a Calvin, Andre, or Fitz. Only problem is those 3 and Marshall at times are "true" #1 receivers. Every other receiver needs help in the NFL, something Holmes didn't get. Combine his poor numbers from last year (not all his fault), his lack of relations with the media, and his huge contract, people like to hate on him. He definitely is a great receiver, but he needs help like 95% of the receivers in the NFL.
