Tebow looked great running the ball which he had to do because of the pocket collapsing (so I do agree with the o line part). It also doesn't help that he has the slowest release and decision making I've ever seen.

Tebow needs to know his role. Run the God damn football Tim!!

I got a little giddy after he broke free from getting sacked and started running through defenders

That stuff is way more intoxicating when the game counts for real, the drive in question affects the outcome of the game.

I think there's some inexplicable thing about a quarterback running it when all you want is for your team to get a first down and keep a drive going. It causes a disproportionate amount of excitement. Might explain some of the Tebow following.

he brought a little excitement to the game for sure. it just felt like things were happening when he was out there last night.

how he cant fix his mechanics of taking a snap and dropping back is tough to stomach... these are things you should be able to learn. throwing motion is going to be a tougher fix but the exchange shouldnt be a problem... no matter how little you did it in college. just do it 150 times a day until you are comfortable with it...

I still do not believe Tebow can throw the ball but I was impressed by the energy he brought to the team last night. Those runs and his physical play was wonderful to see. As a third down back he could really make an impact. Sanchez with his indecisiveness is horrible on 3rd down. The plan that has been suggested to use Tebow as the 3rd down back could help us keep the chains moving more often and allow Sanchez to just throw in non passing situations which would allow him to cut down his mistakes. Those two long runs he made plays out of nothing. Two sure sacks if Sanchez was in there were turned into big plays.

Tim Tebow will excel in the wildcat, but I want to see him in more shotgun spread formations

Tebow is always looking for new ways to fix his throwing motion. I can't fault him for that.

When gametime arrives however, he always reverts back to his old habits and tendencies. Hes had success at every level in the game, I don't really blame him for being reluctant to change.

I personally don't care about his throwing motion. Heard a retired QB say something last year that the throwing motion doesn't need to be changed. There have been QBs in the NFL that are effective with some pretty strange motions.

That said - I think he has to get his footwork and decision making figured out or he will never get a nod as a passer. Has to get the ball out faster and most of that is the drop footwork and the decision where to place the ball. JMHO

See, this is why I call bullshit on your self-professed football genius, you dweeb. You can't recognize a fantastic talent when you see one.

Belichick uses players to the best of their ability. Tebow would be a deadly weapon on your team. But you, you fucking fake loser, you can only see him as a QB. Nothing you say matters, Ken. Go pretend somewhere else.

Reluctant to change ? He did fine last night and was vastly improved from last year. I have the game here on my computer and watched every one of his passes. The interception, form wise, was a great throw. He just threw it to the wrong place. Hill dropped a beautiful pass. When he hit the cheerleader out of bounds, that was a clear throw away. About the only pass in question was his early deep ball that was out of bounds. Will have to look at it again to see if he was off target, or if it was a throwaway.

But compare his passing last night to how he looked last year. The passes were crisp and on target. They had nice a nice spin. Where were the fluttering ducks from last year ? Where were the one hoppers in the dirt ? Where were the ones where he missed the open receiver by 5 yards ?

Sure, he still has things to work on, but his passing has improved dramatically from last year.
