The last few years have been awful, stop with these shitty pop acts and bring rockers out. The question is could they somehow do a Van Halen/Hager Halftime show.

They should just get Metallica on the condition that they play only pre-Load stuff.

Say what you will, Van Halen would be a significant step up....

It's not like they're going to go with Chickenfoot.

    Or announce a UFO reunion.

DLR felt compelled to address the rampant rumors that he started about VH playing the SB.

These guys can't even get a fucking tour off the ground! They cancelled all their show already. There would be no guarantee they even show up to do it.

The odds are just slightly better than the original G&R lineup showing up together to play the SB.

how 'bout AC/DC I mean they play all their songs at the games so might as well bring 'em out for the halftime show. Saw them at Giants stadium a few years ago, one of the best shows i've ever seen.

80s are out. 90s are in.

I expect a Katy Perry halftime show.

I can't remember the last time I didn't start watching the game late on tivo so I could skip the halftime show. Before I had tivo I usually left the room to take a dump.

That's awesome, I would love to see AC/DC. I'm trying to think of a few others. Still don't understand why Indiana native John Mellencamp was dissed last year. He was lobbying for it and they went with shit.

    A few other acts..

    Pearl Jam
    Jane's Addiction
    Billy Joel/Elton John
    Beach Boys
    Steely Dan
    Foo Fighters
    Pink Floyd!!!

Fuck, I'd take El DeBarge, Stevie B and Debbie Deb over the shit they've rolled out the last few years

The Doobies and Chicago are touring together this Summer. Either one or both would work out great for me.

If we're gonna go with classic rock tours from this summer, they ought to have Styx/REO/Ted Nugent tour for haltime!

Can't have AC/DC because one of their most famous songs drops an N-bomb.

Highway to Hell says, "she's a n****r on a one way ride," not "season ticket on a one way ride." Listen to it.

Either AC/DC or Van Halen would be awesome, love em both..... At MetLife it probably makes the most sense to bring back Springsteen though (which would never happen since he played a couple of years ago, but still)
