I'd vote for the Sanchez flinch then hold against the Bills. He just looked like a little girl out there...sad youtube.com/watch?v=7uVaHNI7Awc
Brodney Pool getting bitched at the goaline against the Giants. Fucking coward. Still pisses me off to this day.
Everybody that was in on that 99 yard Victor Cruz play! I would imagine that the feeling that I felt when that happened is how a female feels after being raped! SMH
srqman! & NJGREEN: ^^^^^^^ THIS + 10 I was so amped with the hiring of RexRyan: Raven-crazy, Buddy Ryan-'86Bears crazy, "you take a swipe...we'll take two in return " declaration circa 2009 .... and yet, just years later, there's Brodney Pool getting an ignominious, salty "Bradshaw Balls" facial while getting steamrolled .... and in the 4th-quarter "as iceing on the cake" to boot ...... after the fleet-footed, VERY WHITE-BOY SMART/SAVVY Eric Smith previously (again) "waived his right" to tackle .... in this case eric cruz .... 'Twas 1st time I looked at Rex on the sideline and thought to myself: ...... "hmmm...."
Eric Smith Alligator Arms, because when I watched that game. I knew we were going to get Tebowed once he had the ball with 5 minutes left in the 4th. It's like standing in front of a train and not being able to do anything to save yourself.
I think from a standpoint of talent versus actual record, 2011 was probably the worst season in Jets history. At least when the Jets sucked in the early mid 90s, you knew they were going to suck going into the season. Last year all the cards were in line and they completely blew it. So with that said, I would actually qualify the entire 2011 season for the "Worst Play of 2011" Award.
it is by far, the christmas eve massacre my holiday season was ruined, especially being there in person to witness it.
Winner... one of the most embarrassing plays I've seen the Jets make in a long long time. I'm goinmg out on a limb and saying if that play doesn't happen we neat the Giants and they don't make the playoffs.
Someone needs to explain to these guys what alligator arms are. It means you lazily drop a pass off your fingertips because you didn't extend enough.
I ended up watching this video in like 14 seconds cus everytime i saw the title of a play i was just like ugh i don't want to watch this again haha
Definitely Cruz's 99yd touchdown. Just terrible. Smith's miss on Tebow comes in second, but I knew that one was coming so it didn't hurt that bad.
This is the play that first came to my mind when I saw this thread. Although it was just one of many similar plays.
has to be secondary ruins christmas, sanchez colorblind is a good contender too but he at least he was under a lot of pressure in that play Cruz's touchdown just ruined the entire game, and finished ruining the season, we were actually better in that game until this freaking meltdown, then things just went for the worse
Every option but one was like a shot of pain that eventually wore off. But the option about Schotty calling plays, thats like repeatedly biting your lip over and over or getting a paper cut everyday. It was just pain followed by pain followed by not knowing what living without pain feels like.
F&ck this thread! LOL now I gotta pull out the Jack Daniels that I had tucked away since last December. While I do appreciate the thought/efforts that went into this and "Jetspys" is a cool idea - I have to say its an absolute travesty that the Sanchez gift-wrapped pick six against the Ravens wasn't nominated. I'm not voting in this because that should've been the winner that was an absolute joke. It just summed up that whole pathetic game, was a lack of effort by Sanchez to just toss out that crap and showed me when the tough got going that the Jets weren't going to be able to deliver like the years before. No 2. for me would've been the Sanchez time out in the PATS game. A timeout??? Yes, he seriously lost the game with that time out. I know that the Defense should've held NE off the scoreboard but at least they got physically beaten and calling a stupid bonehead timeout like that fucked the game. Should've been up at halftime. I guess if I had to pick one of those I'd go with the Giants play but while that sucked horribly, things like that happen. It looks worse cause it was a 99 yard play but 90 of those yards he was already gone, just a nice, fluke play for them. If it was a 30 yard pass play where the guy broke a tackle and ran it in you guys would've have been freakin out as bad.
