Another thing they'll have to do if they're in it in July is get a closer.

    Like I said.

Wouldn't be surprised if he gives up an extra base hit now to lose it.

All we need is a single and we win...

    Boni with the stolen base!

Okay, now it takes only a single. I'll make it 70-30 that the Marlins win it right here.

You would think that this piece of shit would know how to hold on runners, given that he allows so many of them.

Francisco scares me, and you can tell he's scared of himself too. Rauch would do a better job.

Up 7-1 in the top of the sixth. Wright is still firmly in beast mode.

If ike left any more runners on base.... just hope he can find some consistency..his swing is better than it was but he is killing us at times....

Wright is just frightening this year his swing is so sweet and his plate discipline is fantastic......

hopefully the lead stays higher than 3 runs and it's a non-save situation allowing Parnell or Rauch or somebody not named Frankie or Francisco to pitch the ninth

Mets 3-4-5 10/16 with 4 runs scored and 4 RBI. Reyes also with 4 hits.

The downside if the Mets do well this year is that we might have to hear McCarver more. What a tool - it is so obvious how much he despises the Mets for firing him. I'm sure he hopes he gets to do a Red Six game before Valentine gets fired, since he hates Valentine most of all (maybe he's already done one).
