Valdespin getting lot of love but he is in no way our best prospect at SS..keep an eye on Tovar at AA...he is scary good according to reports from numerous sources.more upside than Tejada apparantly I am so excited about the Mets 2013-14..we have a fantastic bullpen on its way through the minors...all home grown and frankly lights out also we have some power players . Its going unnoticed but St Lucie / Savannah are tearing it up..players like Armando Rodriguez, Fulmer, Edgin,Tovar, Muno , Wheeler, Kolarek and Vaughan will all move quickly to AAA. and beyond by end of 2013. That ignoring the likes of Meijia, Harvey and Familia who will start in mlb next yr.
Don't get too excited. We all know that at least 75% of the players you just listed will never make it.
I am not so sure on these...Edgin, Wheeler and Tovar are elite prospects for me......the one I do not think will be a starting pitcher is Familia...I can see him being a really good 8th inning guy. Also out of all our prospects some of these are not in the to 20... ie likes of Havens etc have been ignored Anyway I am normally pessimistic so leave me alone
Remarkable comeback win for the Mets - the top 5 batters in the lineup go 9 for 22 with 6 RBI and 5 runs scored. Batista actually settled down after a bad couple of innings, too. I give the team full credit - I really thought they were heading into the crapper, but they've come back remarkably well.

Good win last night and loved the hustle on the rundown..they show real fight except when I watch them in person!! Anyway lets hope we get the sweep!! ( never thought we would say that!!!)
all the experts were certain that the Mets would be something like 5-25 thirty games into the season. Young, giving 100 percent, never give up players coming back from deficits and winning games on the road....
