Bush FS - converted CB, one of the best FS producers in college last year, criminally underrated, a true cover back end FS (fills a need for a FS) Ganaway RB - tough runner, another ground and pound Tebow-type pick, adds toughness in run game (fills a need for a tough back up RB) Griffin G - has size and strength, knows about blocking for a running QB (fills a need for a back up G) Allen SS - his specialty in college was run stopping and covering TEs, the latter role could be crucial for him in playing for the Jets, (fills need for a back up SS and TE coverman) White WR - underrated WR played at a small school but is a polished route runner (fills need for a WR who is a good route runner) Surprisingly no RT added at any point they must believe in Hunter and Vlad
I have to admit I was hoping we took Massie from Ole Miss. He had a few good games at RT too, particularly a win against LSU. I agree that Vlad and Hunter must really be held in high regard but really don't see why.
Just checked out Ganaway's highlights. Had no idea who this guy was, but I'm a fan. Has pretty good speed once he gets into the open field. Check out 1:45 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od2sdLUOtys
rewatch and look at the passing plays. He definitely needs to work on his pass blocking. But he looks like a great north south runner
