Falcons are going to grab him...if they don't there has to be a dead hooker or something in his closet.
I have no idea. He seemed to having a rising stock into early round-2 before the draft. Theres definitely something we don't know about him that's bound to come out later to explain this. Reminds me of Cam Thomas 2 years ago. Miller is recovering from an injury, I think his shoulder. Apparently he's not close to being healthy with it and it's caused teams to back off of him. Almost wish we had a 4th rounder so we could try and make a move for him. At this point, injury included, he'd be an absolute steal.
Lol.... that would make this offseason go from "surprising/head scratching" to "holy fuck what is happening"
I have no idea. Evrything I think I knew about the draft has been thrown out the window. I didn't even sniff any of these Jets draft picks. And I consider myself someone that really pays attention.
Was talking to my father about this today.... look at any mock draft and see how well they are after the first three picks lol
... Gotcha. I didn't know the injury was still a pressing concern. Still though, like you said, I wish we had the (noncompensatory) firepower to take a flyer on him.
I've done pretty good in the past. For the Jets only though. They usually draft based upon having a player visit. I even guessed Jeremy Kerley. But I just didn't see anything this year. I had Massie as the 2nd round pick. Iloka or Martin as the 3rd. Mercilus as the first. Edit: Extra points for chattin with your Dad.
The Colts need 3-4 personnel, we got DeVito, Pitoitua, Mauga, Pace, Thomas, Tevaseu we should package some of these guys for a 4th or 5th
Holmes over Massie. There may be some credence to the dead hooker in trunk/closet theory posited earlier in the thread.
Agreed, we could help shave cap space, get rid of guys not crucial to our direction anymore, AND have the ability to hopefully draft someone at a position of need
Little known fact: tootbrush was invented in West Virginia. They say if it was invented any where else, it likely would have been called a teethbrush.
