T.O. would play for the minimum.

I have been living in Cowboy country since before TO got to Dallas, and I don't totally agree about the very vocal and very public part of things. Romo's favorite target, pre-TO, was Witten. When that chemistry hurt Owens' numbers, I heard a lot of after-the-fact locker room stuff locally here about how he split the locker room. He's a charismatic guy and a lot of players like him, and he was able to use that to get a lot of guys talking him up and going to Garrett in secret meetings and BS like that.

I don't trust TO in a locker room that is already dealing with what the Jets' locker room is. He's more than just numbers on a stat sheet. The guy is an extreme bi-polar narcisist and seems to have a gift for manipulation.

If you're as physically talented as T.O. can be when healthy and a potential #2 WR then I'm interested.

I agree. If Edwards is not going to fit, and ftr I would like Edwards more than TO, then the way to go is to groom Kerley and a mid to late round pick this year for the next couple of years, and in the mean time hope a healthy TO can get some of the heat off Holmes.

This whole working with Sanchez thing is overrated. SOMEBODY will be new in the #2 spot. Holmes, Kerley, P Turner and even (blech) Keller will all be back. If TO is healthy and can still run with speed, this could actually work.

TO and Holmes on the same team. Sanchez might as well quit now.

I'm willing to bet he'd be more productive than Scotty McKnight.

    T.O is B.S.

Let's get Nick Toon in the draft.

T.O. is about 3 years older than Tim - which makes him 38 this year. He had stem cell surgery at the age past 35 - well. Ok. Tim had it done at 34, so call that a wash. Still, I think it is a high-risk (potential locker room problem, more than anything), low potential move if you ask me.

If this team hasn't learned anything from their previous ''one year wonder'' experiments then I give up. I won't debate that T.O. may still have the physical assets to play but I would absolutely hate to see him as a Jet next year. The last thing we need is another washed up stopgap at the expense of signing a young talent who might actually play for more than one year. Don't we have enough high-profile egos in the lockerroom already?

I don't like the concept of just cutting him in the middle of the year if it's not working out either. We did the same thing with Mason last year. Who knows how much Kerley could have contributed if he had been playing from week one. He certainly looked alot better than Mason and the kid was only a rookie.

Hell yeah we've been looking for you all offseason. Expect an incentive-laden contract.

Agreed. I would like us to pick up Braylon, who is 29 and has great rep with Sanchez, OR draft a 2nd or 3rd day rookie.

I've been saying since his radio interview, I would kick the tires. No guarantees and at league minimum, why not? I would sign him and also give Edwards a deal similar to the one the 49ers did last year. They are both BIG receivers and can block, plus give the needed big targets to Tebow.

why are has beens being thrown around as Jets options? I see Braylon Edwards, TO, Moss. LOL Are you saying the Jets FO/scouts can`t find reliable WR`s out there? The Jets can`t go look for a Marquis Colsten somewhere? Damn, why not just bring back Wesley Walker?

This franchise isn`t going to win anything for at least another 40 years. The Jets have pretty much been a losing stock in the NFL. Now they are a laughing stock.
