On a quick glance, a few of those guys are likely not going in the first round and David Decastro will be a first rounder, probably top 20

Did you forget about Upshaw or think he's out of the first?

You never know. Wouldn't be the first time a team took a prospect solely on athleticism and size...... Tyson Alualu anyone??

Also KC won't be drafting OT rd 1 after signing Eric Winston.

@JohnnyThaJet: his stock is falling. He is first round talent though. He was in the back of my mind.
@Doogstein are you sure? There's a blind side, and Reiff would be a good fit there.
@asscue: I figured they would draft Wilson as a complimentary back. Or, in case Law firm doesn't pan out.
Thanks for the feedback fellas! 2.0 will probably be out next week or so.

Wow. Upshaw out of the first round. Crazy considering he was projected to go as high as 10.

I think the Browns get Trent and Barron in the first, imo.

They have Brandon Albert on the blind side in KC and apparently they are still high on him. I think he gets another year to prove his worth

If this is how the first 15 picks play out, I'd take one of the 2 tackles (Adams, Martin)

I'll answer that question with another.

Without looking it up, can you name two wideouts on Jacksonville?

..... and with that as a No. Floyd is a huge upgrade at a positon of need on a team that has horrible wideouts.

Even with Robinson in the fold, Floyd becomes at worst #2 is not #1 still and Thomas gets to make plays in the slot. This would be big for thier offense. Now thing of MJD running with acutal threats on the outside for once. I would be a very good pick for them IMO.

Upshaw's athletic upside is really limited. So you have to hope that even though he has looked bad in drills at workouts, and his measurables are below average across the board, he's going to be more successful than superior athletes. His production is there, but usually production guys with bad measurables fall.

I still can't believe he's more highly regarded than Hightower.

I'm guessing that Hightower is above Upshaw on a lot of draft boards right now. Not saying Hightower has moved up much but I do think Upshaw has fallen a lot.

I think NFL teams put too much emphasis on the measurables with some guys. I mean obviously if you're a CB like Derrick Strait and you run a 4.54 40 at the combine that has to mean something, however that's an absolutely vital stat for a guy who has to run fast for a living. Hightower's measurables are much better than Upshaw's and Hightower was also widely seen as the main guy in that Alabama defense. The combination of the two things definitely should have Hightower over Upshaw but that doesn't mean Upshaw is not a potentially great player in the right role.
