We didn't get a set pick, so it probably had to do with how he plays this season, but does anyone know what round draft pick we will get for him?
We could have used Lowery after Jimmy Leonhard went down. Even more so after Brodney got knocked out trying to tackle Brandon Jacobs.
This was probably the worst move they made this offseason (aside from the Holmes $$$) Yes, Hunter, etc.... but we all thought Hunter would be solid after last year's playoffs. With a coverage Safety being a weak spot, I didn't understand it, even moreso that He played well for JAX. Hopefully it parlays into an escalator clause in regards to the draft pick.
That was actually Bradshaw that steamrolled Pool. Rex really needs to reevaluate his love for slow, but smart and hard hitting safeties.
I'm guessing that it will be 6th or 7th, nothing better looking at other similar trades for players. I'm hoping we'll be better off in the deal than it just cancelling out the pick we lost in our move for Caleb Schlauderaff. Maybe gain 6th and lose a 7th?
Any news what this pick is? I was hoping for a 5th after the type of season he had there, but Ive seen reports saying Jets traded him away for basically "nothing", meaning a 7th.
I've read that it was a 7th that turned into a 6th when the Jags re-signed him, but that wasn't from a good source.
The 7th-rd pick (214) sent to Indy was from Jax in Lowery trade. Jets also sent a 7th-rd pick (224) to GB for Schlauderaff last summer. #nyj
An oft-overlooked absurd trade. Lowery is a good player. Really could have used him last season more than the bag of balls he was traded for.
100% correct. Given the scary lack of safety depth by the end of the year, I really regret seeing him go...
Im "pretty sure" that we got a 7th, that we traded in the Stanton Trade for the eagles 6th from the Colts. So in other words we got a 7th for him. Great work Tanny
