Bottom line: Tebow will lead the Jets to the Super Bowl within 3 years.

I still don't know what to think about this move but the whole thing has made me totally schizophrenic.

We are getting a physically gifted player who can be used in multiple ways
He appears to be a genuinely good guy with strong character, which this team definitely needs
His mere presence can easily become a huge distraction
Bringing him here sends all sorts of mixed messages to Sanchez and has to be messing with his psyche
On the other hand if this will bother Sanchez so much than what does that say about Sanchez' mental toughness and confidence
Tebow will add another dimension to the offense which can cause all sorts of problems for other teams to gameplan against
But what does it say about the state of the team if we want to make gimmick plays a key focus of the offense
Tebow has proven that he can win during the regular season and in the playoffs
This is the same argument which has been made for Sanchez yet it doesn't make him a good QB - it can be said that their teams have experienced success in spite of them, not because of them
I think that there is a slight possibility that Tebow has the potential to develop into a more complete QB, which would make him a nightmare to play against when his other attributes are taken into consideration
I think the same thing about Sanchez
Will having the both of them together cultivate or destroy any chance for improvement from them
We are spending millions of dollars and giving up a draft pick (ok, only a 4th rounder which is a roll of the dice anyway) for someone who will most likely be on the field for 8-10 plays per game at the most
On the other hand he does have a knack for making big, game changing plays

If nothing else, this is the most interesting trade/acquisition I can remember seeing. Taking into consideration my opinions on what we already had for a QB, my view is that this is a trade which has a moderate risk (Sanchez turning to complete $hit and having to turn a gimmick QB to back him up) and high reward (Sanchez getting his head out of his ass and, if that doesn't happen, Tebow having the chance to develop into a Michael Vick type of QB).

    My head hurts....
