Not a surprise at all. Cotchery will end up being our #1 WR and that is not a knock on Coles.

I have to say GOOD. JMac has been an utter disappointment. I stuck with him as long as I could, but he is useless. He dogs plays too often, he obviously doesn't fit into the new team mentality, ship him out. Later JMac!

In another thread, it looks like Parcells is searching for another WR. Maybe we can get something done.

    Go Cotch!

I wonder why Mangini started McCariens in pre-season game...I guess he just wanted to showcase him to other teams.

WOw was I really wrong about Jmac. But by saying that, its really good to see Cotch take the bull by the horns. One more thing if Herm was here Cotch would not have been given the chance to play. Jmac would have been catered too.

JMac is not a good fit for this team. The fact that he showed up for camp not fit for camp tells me he is not taking things seriously.

I hope we can trade him for somebody.

Damn I wish we could get that 2nd round pick back for that piece of sh*t, hell I would take a bag of balls to get rid of him.

Ahem! Can I please get the naysayers to eat some of their crow? I told you that come the preseason this guy was going to quickly rise to the top, and he's doing so now. Phase 1 is complete- getting to the top of the depth chart. Phase 2 is an ongoing item- on the field performance, as he looked good last week but there is always room for improvement, like fighting for that ball in the endzone on the fade pattern.

Good luck Jericho- you've been waiting for your time to board the plane and you've just been given the ticket- don't let it go to waste.

This is a check on the good list for Mangini. It took a good camp from Cotchery to sew up the job, not a great one.

75 catches for 1,000 yards this year would be enough for us to lock Cotchery up long-term before he hits his walk year. I'm glad he's going to get the opportunity.

If he is trade bait, why are we dropping him to 2nd team. I feel like that would deminish some of the trade value for him

Man, the Jets are a mess.....

Awhile back, I was certain the Bills would be the worst team in the AFC East. Not anymore, the Jets have caught them, and appear to be headed into the basement. These are great days, it'll be fun watching you guys crawling all season long....

Don't be so sure that your team won't be crawling as well. Oh I forgot, that won't happen b/c you have Culpepper at QB. Good luck.

this also validates his effort in college. all those receptions he pulled in and breaking Tory Holts records must mean something. Another great reason to be thankful we are rid of Herm.
