Amen! I don't get all the bitching and whining. The guy isn't here to play QB. He's here to run gimmick plays and make us more dangerous at the goal line. Hopefully Sparano will utilize him for what he does well and we'll keep the defense off the field longer than we did last season. What's the problem? And BTW ... its nice to bring in someone who's a good guy for a change instead of the parade of assholes we've been running through here.
Neither has played a down yet in 2012, and there are already threads on this page calling for Tebow to be given the job. That's the problem. Regardless of how Sanchez plays, Tannenbaum has just recruited a large, devoted, obnoxious fan base to continually ask to have Sanchez benched so their nice christian friend can play instead. Ask Kyle Orton how great it is having Tim Tebow as a teammate, he and other Broncos QBs were pretty openly resentful of Tebow both before and after he was handed the job. Add to that the fact that having Tebow's idiot self in the meeting room is only going to slow down Sanchez's development. I imagine he's the idiot in the classroom who keeps asking questions long after everybody else is ready to move on. This feels like the low point in my tenure as a Jets fan. An inexplicably stupid move, completely out of the blue, prompted or justified by nothing. I'm praying to hear there was a trade stipulation that the draft picks come back if Tebow gets cut.
If Sanchez can't handle some "We Want Tebow" chants...tell me why exactly he should be the starting QB of a NEW YORK team?
Dont forget the Broncos were 1-4 before Tebow started. I dont think the Jets will start off that bad with Sanchez....

I think people are doing all of those things. Doesn't change the fact the second Sanchez has a subpar game (which every QB has in a 16 game season) you will have media and fans on here calling for Tebow to start. The Jets FO needs to solidify in the press conference Tebow was brought to run the wildcat only.
Peeps are complaining because we didn't need him in the least. I'll be okay with it if he's just trade bait, but come on. Develop Kerley and Mcknight, don't waste draft picks on an unproven mediocre QB. Terrible terrible move in a year where the draft is absolutely CRUCIAL.
Sanchez is either THE MAN or he's not. He's either the Sanchize for the foreseeable future... or he's not! This will be the season we find out. CAN'T WAIT!
True. Time to step up Sanchez! And as fans, rally around him. He can lead the Jets to the SB. Tebow can be used in some sets I guess.
Please, someone find a link saying that this is just something the Jets did to put together a package and then ship him out to another team for a higher draft pick or another player we could really use. I agree with the post above,, WE NEED every draft pick this year.. I was not willing to give up a 4th.. I think one of our 4th's was Leon Washington. OMG
