That doesn't tell u anything. This is the same team who didn't give Randy Moss a true chance.

Looks like it'll be Split End By Committee. That'll help with the chemistry problems.

Avery n Shilens simply amazing, between the 2of them we might get 6 total games out of them. They are signing these banged up wr yet they choose not to find one single OFF lineman RT ,,,,,,,unreal

Man you guys are too funny. So Chaz and Avery are/would be dumb signings because they are injury prone, then in the next breath some of you way "omg sign Braylon Edwardz plz not dees scrubz" despite the fact he missed close to all of last year because of knee surgery. Jets fans... too much.

This would make you think they have absolutely no interest in Edwards at all.

  7. Yeah, fans need to get over this Braylon thing. Is it no coincidence that not a single other team has shown any interest in him? At this point he's just as much of a gamble as Chaz & the possibility of Avery. Is he a bigger name w/ a better resume? Sure. But he's just as much of a risk.

As much as I'd like to see the Jets bring in that true power forward # 2 WR, I like what they are doing here(Safety is another story). Throw a bunch of low risk/high reward guys into a TC competition and see who sticks.

ABB-Anybody but Braylon. No clue why they don't want him. At least get Cotchery back. They can't keep changing the receiver corps every year, substituting scrub for scrub.

Give him a shot at a cheap price .. If it doesnt work out its not like we will be any worse off than we currently are at the position. Can only benefit us if he stays healthy

We kill the Jets because they can't find diamonds in the rough and we're building our team trying to overpay stars that underperform, and then we kill them because they're looking at low-risk, medium-high reward players. Mind bottling.

Thank you. I guess it's just the mentality of Jets fans today. You can't bitch about building a team the right way then bitch when you go and sign guys like Schillens and perhaps Avery. And then bitch about NOT signing Braylon Edwards! I want the guy back just as much as anyone else, but to think we are screwed because we are giving guys a shot... guys that fit the mold of WHAT WE NEED... that's just absurd. ESPECIALLY when you're bringing up health.

Schillens and Avery are not going to get a lot of money so they are low risk high reward guys. I have no problem with it. The thing the Jets have to watch out for is if you give roster spots to too many injury prone guys and history repeats itself you could be scrounging the waiver wire for guys that shouldn't even be on the field.

You could add Braylon to your first sentence and the rest of your post would still be entirely true. I don't think people realize Braylon had season-ending knee surgery last year. What makes anyone think Braylon is any less of a health risk than Avery or Schillens?

Avery just signed with the Colts. He was going to sign with the Jets, but the Stanton trade ruined that, I'm sure.

avery has never been anything but a 3 or #4 recieving scrub at best.

anybody brady throws the ball to instantly becomes a threat and better reciever, or they don't stay very long. brady to gonzales is better than anything the jets have. oh wait, sanchez to holmes, ya lol, there's a explosion waiting to happen.

besides, he just signed with the colts!
