Landry is probably happy about this. His price probably just rose a few bucks knowing how desperate we are at the position.

The only person who is happy about this is Cimini.

No worries guys. No one wants to sign with us after our ridiculous season last year. Thanks Rex and Sanchez.....

Just read somewhere that Landry wants to sign in NE as long as the money is close.

Trading lowery is looking like such a idiot move right about now.

Further more their only option is to reach and draft barron at 16 or harrison smith in 2nd rd.

Or pick up some shit talent during training camp cuts,

Or overpay landry who is essentially an undersized lber who can't cover and has mental lapses in reading route trees.

    Both would be horrible picks.

This what happens when you roll with two overachievers at safety for a few yrs without finding serious talent to take the torch

Edit: id love to eat some crow but don't see how this gets fixed. safety will be a weakness on this team and the position has been managed horribly. Their only hope is to trade for an elite talent at olb or draft heavy in the front seven and find consistent pressure in the form of a linebacking platoon

Nelson was a so-so safety that was always far more likely to re-sign with Cincy than go somewhere else - lets not all act as though Peyton Manning has left us standing at the altar.
