no, Ray Lucas is simply saying something completely different than I am. if you can't tell the differences you certainly are in no position to attempt snide comments. saying a defensive player doesn't warrant that salary is in no way similar to what I have said -- that he makes the team better. how are those two even similar to you, especially when you address what I actually said just above that. but a dominant defensive player can have a comparable impact on a game as QB, just differently, especially defensive lineman. we should know how important a defensive line is considering we have lacked one for quite some time.

Williams has owned Miami, so he should help Buffalo there. He's struggled against the Jets and Patriots, so might not do so well in those games.
The Bills D will be stout but they still have Wannstache running the cover -2 man all game every minute thing to ruin the fun.
We now not only have the best D-line in the league but it will be the best D-line ever in the NFL. All this to go along with our top 5 Ballhawking secondary. Cue the haters...
