Interesting. Can't really make out the Colts plans letting everyone go then resigning Wayne. As the above poster said, Luck needs all the help he can get.
Haha there goes the thought that Wayne and Peyton were going to Miami. I dont blame Wayne tho, he cant wait for Peyton.
Finheaven is in an uproar right now, those fools were running their mouths saying they were taking over the division or at least 2nd place. Highly unlikely now, no reciever, no QB, what a bunch of idiots running that team.
Couldn't say it better myself. How about the Trio in Chicago now Cutler(Overrated) Marshall and Forte.... Gonna be a good team i believe in a tough NFC north Div
yeah, Cutler is overrated. that is why they went from arguably the second best team in the league behind Green Bay when he was healthy to missing the playoffs when he got hurt.
Yeah, I'm very happy about all that... However, after clearing Marshall, it seems like something big is coming. I'm kind of holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I guess winning isn't everything. There must've been more coin in it for Reggie to go back to Indy... Patriots coach Bill Belichick's admiration for Wayne has been well documented. The team's reported interested in Wayne reflects that Belichick has an upgrade at receiver on his radar. Free-agent receiver Reggie Wayne, writing in his journal on his official website, described his decision-making process in returning to the Colts (3 years, $17.5 million). "It came down to there teams actually. Well..... kinda four teams at first. Then three and then two. And you Colts fans don't wanna know who other team was. I'll let you figure that one out. Ha!" While Wayne hinted it was the Patriots, Greg A. Bedard of the Boston Globe confirmed it, citing a league source. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2012/03/reggie_wayne_ch.html Well, a league source confirmed that the Patriots were indeed the other team. It's unknown what the Patriots offered compared to the Colts, who inked Wayne for $17.5 million over three years ($7.5 million guaranteed). Interesting whether it was the money or another factor -- staying at home and retiring a Colt -- Wayne chose not to go for another Super Bowl title since the Colts are clearly in a rebuilding mode, at least for next season.
