The guy can still play and he looked just like Chrebet playing on Friday except he is faster. He is willing to take the hit and he is a great return man.

Wow, we all saw him keep his feet in and walk the tite rope on the sideline catch.

I predict he will have the most catches this year.

McCareins could be trade bait since I feel right now he is the 4th ranked guy and Brad Smith might overtake him there.

    Laveranues Coles/Tim Dwight/Jerricho Cotchery/Justin McCareins/Brad Smith

I do want to compliment Coles for some nice grabs too. If Chad stays healthy all year Cole will have a huge season, but if Chad falls once again I look for Dwight to be the spark on the receiving side. Coles does not adapt to changes at QB very well.

So if you're ready between the lines you know I feel Chad will get all our hopes up just to crush them again and Clements will be the guy by season's end.

    Little White Man Part Deux!

He did well the other night but I see him as more of a 3 or 4 receiver, with Cotchery certainly ahead of him, and who knows, if Brad Smith steps up consistently in the preseason he might be one notch above Dwight.

Dwight looked pretty good. I am not totally sure on the speed thing though. Chrebet was sneaky fast.

I definitely think there is a place for him in the line up if Dwight continues to play well.

I agree. I even said the same thing to my wife... if he had been wearing #80 I would have freaked. He's had a good camp (on the day I was there) and made himself quite noticable... great hands... brings it in and goes for the hards after and he's not intimidated (like McCareins seems to be at times).

Dwight is probably faster than Wayne was, BUT I don't think he will be as great. He will be a very under-rated contributor though and the comparison is a good one.

Isn't he pushing 29 or 30 years old anyway? I think he'll be a 3rd down receiver at best. But if he comes through in big spots like Wayne used to that would be fine by me.

He's gonna be great for us out of the slot! He'll be our go to guy on 3rd downs.

Tim Dwight is faster now than Chrebet ever was at any time. Consider, Dwight returned kickoffs, and returned one for a Touchdown in the Super Bowl for the Falcons. Can anyone ever - even in a dream - conjur up the image of Wayne Chrebet returning a kickoff for a Touchdown? Chrebet was sneaky fast off the line. First few steps, that's it.

Time Dwight = Wayne Chrebet = Pure Fantasy!!!!! Mr. Dwight is not a guy you go to in the clutch. He's a return man... end of story. He'll make a catch here and there that'll make you turn you head and say wow. Other than that, he was brought in because Miller couldn't catch punts.

I think that Tim Dwight may be one of those late bloomers like Ed McCaffrey. Tim has very good hands and damn good speed, he's going to be a Jet and make some things happen along with Coles.

Yeah, I have to agree here. He was specifically brought in to contribute on ST. He's a decent receiver, and will surely see time in the slot, but I am predicting, by the time we play Tenn. the WR corps will be as follows:
    1) Coles
    2) Cotchery
    3) Smith
    4) JMac
    5) Dwight

It's all fine by me. This season is not going to be all roses. If he can come through, I am all for it.

Tim Dwight has all of the physical tools but height... speed, strength, quickness, hands. If he had Chrebet's concentration, he would have been to a few Pro Bowls as a receiver, but he doesn't. The Pats cut him for his inconsistency. Can he get past that? Maybe, but I doubt we'll ever see him make any of the defiantly acrobatic catches we got from Wayne.

I have to admit Tim Dwight did look pretty impressive vs. the Bucs. I'm just glad Cotchery is finally getting his chance to shine. Heck I'm even going to make Cotchery start in Madden no matter who is really starting. I had enough of JMAC.

Tim Dwight may end up being our best FA pickup in years. He contributes to multiple phases of the game and is crazy tough. Love him returning kicks and love him as a 3rd WR.

Cotchery impressed the hell out of me in the Bucs game, if he can keep that up during the season he might be the future tandem with Clemens, barring a Chad Pennington comeback.
