    Why?

Belichick is back, Brady is back, Gronk and Hernadez will only get better, they have two 1st round picks, two 2nd round picks and a ton of money to spend on FA's.

Pats will have the AFCE wrapped up by Thanksgiving the next several years.

My whole point was, lets not play the what if game, it works both ways. The bottom line is they were 8-8.

I see them as a team that was really exposed at the end of the season.

Then you bring in a whole new offensive system, I don't think it was a stretch to say it will take a big effort to go 9-7 or 10-6 next year, that was my point.

They didn't have it wrapped by Thanksgiving this year, or the previous year.

Every team has holes that was you see a lot of worst to first. Ground and Pound works that why SF had a good year. To have a top 5 defense you need to play clock management to keep your team fresh and keep the game close. The Giants played ground and Pound against the PATS and kept Brady off the field. They convert the field goals into touchdowns that game is a blowout.

Ground and Pound Dink and Dunk whatever you want to play you have to make the big play when it matters. The JETS sis not in big games this year last year they did next year they might. If they do they will contend for the division again.

QB matters but O-Line matters more protect the QB the QB suddenly gets better as does the WRs and running back.

Abyz....YES. If you need proof I will gladly go back over the past two years with my concerns about Rex...thats your call. I can do it next time Im on.

I dont play the game of "I told you so" but I stated a long time ago that Rex will either win a Superbowl or have a horrendous ending to this style.

Hey, I will gladly go back and check my older posts. I know what I said. You have been on this site for awhile so Im surprised you dont know that I have never ever liked the chest pounding without accomplishing shit attitude.

And lets get something straight abyz...I NEVER CALLED HIM A STUPID COACH. so please do not put words in my mouth. Ever. The way he went after that game against the Giants from his mouth all week was stupid.

Wait a minute Abyz.....lol...Im the one that started the first shut the f up Rex thread. You can check out that thread.

Listen bud....Im not here to argue with anyone. I look at this way. Living in this area..and Im curious to see if the guys that are really fired up about this live in mostly live in this area..it sucks.

Remember champ used to post all the time and I would fight all the time with him about how easy it is to be a pessimist..how easy it is to find the negative because winning a Superbowl is so hard?

Here is how I have tortured myself the past 3 days. After not listening to that fat fuck on the fan for almost 2 years...I have been listening the last 3 days. You would think he is a Giant fan. Giant fans calling him up and praising him on what a great job he is doing. He spent 10 minutes today blowing the punter Rutherford. We all get why..we get it his hatred for the Jets.

You go into stores around here and see old ladies wearing Victor Cruz shirts...its every where here. And yeah...its a lot worse when you have a coach IMO...that doesnt know when to shut up.

Cant remember being so pissed for so many days in a row over sports. Check out my posts...Im losing it over the friggin Jets? My wifes boss +(giant fan..hates the jets) sent me a text today showing a guy wearing a Brett Favre Jet Jersey sitting at a bar drinking a beer and types...what a loser huh? All in fun? Except..if not for the fact that she gets paid well...I wanted to go down there and rip his heart out with my bare hands.

Get it? lol...Im pissed on how this all played out from week 16...to Sunday. And whether the Giants players are lying or not to piss off the Jets is not important to me..they have said Rex helped them on the run...true or not...I hate it.

Hey jaywayne, you are reacting like I called you out. I was just asking honestly, and now that you mention it, I do remember you not digging Rex's bravado. Point taken.

And Francesa IS a Giants fan, I don't know anyone that could make a realistic argument against that. Thankfully I don't get regularly subjected to the type of stuff you do living in that area. But I do whenever I go back, so I get your drift.

And I am right there with you about how things have played out. I think Rex has it in him to fix things, even though I have had my own reservations about him. I'd rather he become Madden than Glanville, but it's up in the air at this point.

And we were a couple of plays away from being 9-7 or 10-6. The Giants were a couple of plays away from missing the playoffs. What is your point. In 2010 if Sanchez didn't lead comebacks against Houston and win the games in Cleveland and Detroit the team is 8-8. Wow, who would have thought that 2 or 3 plays can swing a team from being below or at .500 to being above it and making the playoffs?

Hey Abyz..sorry for the overreaction on my part. Cant really figure out why this is pissing me off so much. I think at my age, forget about the fact that your own team isnt getting to the big one...but we have now in the last 4 years had to watch a game with two team I despise.

While I get the Patriot hatred..for me...the Giants are equals.

Want to know how small minded I am? I not only blame him for the run by the Giants...I blame him for the resurgence of the Patriots. How you ask? Here is my demented thinking:

Rex comes along and has Revis. The Jets show signs of passing the Pats. What does BB do to combat Revis? He drafts 13 tight ends and two of them end up being incredible. He then trades away any wide out that can do damage because he has no plans on seriously implementing them into the game plan (Walker is a slot receiver who for the most part goes up against a nickel)

So by being so smart, Rex changes the whole entire philosophy of football..especially up in New England...where BB attacks your aging linebackers and under funded Safetys.

How does that sound? Percocets anyone?

You're an idiot. What does it matter if your post was in response to someone else. His post was spot on. Its just as easy to say we were a couple plays away from being 6-10 as it is to say we were a couple plays away from 10-6.

I wasn't commenting to you, I was reinforcing your point, I guess I didn't necessarily point that out, but I could not find the original post so I just responded to yours.
