    Maybe.

But you tell me...On the eve of a Super Bowl, what does that tell the rest of the roster....

IMHO, it says... Win or Lose... You better be motivated in the off season because I'm a heartless asshole.

if that were the case, how come all 32 coaches coaching throughout Manning's career didn't all win Super Bowls, which would inherently include Jim Caldwell and Jim Mora? you see, for your outright dumb fucking statement to make sense, every coach to have coached Manning should have won a Super Bowl, otherwise it means not every coach can win just by having Manning.

I feel like a dumb fuck for even replying to this fucking stupidity, I can't even imagine what it must be like to have such thoughts actually roaming through my head.

I think you missed it. And, I think he's right, to a degree. A Rex Ryan, with Manning for 10 years, CAN win a Super Bowl, but not guaranteed. Where as a Tony Dungy, or in this thread, a Billidouche, couldn't, in all likelihood, win without a Brady or a Manning. Would Bill Walsh have 3 rings without Montana? Would Shanahan have 2 without Elway? But, to be fair, I see your point as well. Just a little too hostile on the response.

If Jim Caldwell can take the Colts to the Super Bowl, im sure all 32 current head coaches could do the same.

Give anyone a DECADE with Peyton in his prime and you can win a ring by just standing there.

I hate the guy as much as anyone here, but I think that's a little overdone. A couple of breaks and he's 5-0 in the SB. And a couple of breaks the other way and he's 0-5. Fact is, he wins enough to get his team in position a hell of a lot. That shows how good he is.

The thing about how Spygate affects Bill is that he now seems consumed with showing off how smart he is. He's so great he can win with Julian Edelman playing 5 positions and driving the team bus. In the not very distant future, Patriot fans are going to lament the fact that they had the best quarterback of this generation and somehow wouldn't put a squad of athletes who could perform around him.

Belichik never sniffs a Super Bowl if Mo Lewis doesn't take out Bledsoe in a way that no quick return was possible.

He's a very smart guy and he's definitely going to the hall of fame and probable recognition as one of the top coaches of all time. That said, the thing that triggered it for him was random luck.
