Do you go to a "My Mom has cancer board"? If so, I'm sorry for your family problems. Everything seems exaggerated here because it's a board where you bitch about the Jets. Thought that was common sense. Obviously, the Jets aren't as important as a sick family member, but thanks for pointing that out for the 1-2 people who had the problem deciphering the difference. I kind of thought the perspective was a given, but since you pointed it out, I guess it can't be assumed. I bet a bunch of people feel better now.
I'll tell you what... ,,,I'm angry that the Giants play the fucking Patriots without FEAR. They ATTACK. We play conservative. Like we're too scared to lose a game. OUR APPROACH TO TOM BRADY AND THEIR TEAM...THAT'S WHAT PISSES ME OFF!!!!
I think that's what pisses me off more. That Giants fans can look forward to a Patriots game and say, "We got this", all the meanwhile Jets fans look at that kinda upcoming game and say, "I'm hoping for the best...but I think if everything falls in the right place, WE GOT THIS!!!" They fucking OWN the Pats. We don't. I want that! We need to beef up our DL!
You are an a-hole. Where else are we gonna bitch about football, on a cancer awareness blog. This is where die hards go to root and bitch. THis feels like I lost a dog. Ok? Is that better douche bag. You ain't no die hard you piece of crap. Enjoy the parade dick nose
I'm glad the Giants won. I want them to bring the lombardi trophy to the MetLife Stadium. I want them to hang all the "Congrats" signs etc, all over the locker room. I want to see management hang a sign that reads "MetLife Stadium, Home of the World Champion NY Giants. i want all this to appear in Metlife Stadium so EVERY F#CKIN' JET PERSONNEL - from the owner to the water boy - see what THEY (we) are missing out on !!!!
I have a basketball game tonight. Will do my best to avoid committing a flagrant foul but there are no guarantees.
I became a Jets fan as a little boy in 1981 with the Sack Exchange. I loved Gastineau's sack dance. The Pats have played in the SB 7 times since the 85 season. 26 years. Every 3.7 years the Pats play in the SB. Crazy. 5 times for the Giants. 86 and 90 Giants teams were very good teams. Their last 3 teams haven't been anything special but somehow they reached the SB. Won twice. Played well at the right time. Amazing. The Jets should make it their goal to play in the 2014 SB. 2013 season. It might be their first "home" playoff game. Two drafts. Two off seasons. The cap will stay the same for 2012. It will increase for 2013 with the new TV money. Draft well. No crazy contracts this off season. Have a good season. Cap increases. Draft well. NY SB.
That would be some shit right there, wouldn't it? Play about 15 straight road playoff games, then finally get to the Super Bowl in their home stadium. Also, I didn't hear anyone ringing their hands over a blizzard hitting us for that one this year, did you?
I am 40, and in my lifetime I will never see us : A. Play in our own Stadium B. Get to and win a Superbowl You know what? I don't care. The Jets are my team. Go Jets!!!!!
You want to sit around and wallow in self pity, be my guest. That will never get you anywhere though.
As our SB appearances are few and far between I want our next one to be against the Giants. Only then will the feeling be complete when we win.
Anyone going to the parade tomorrow or atleast drinking in the city to a smart/ well planned future and offseason for the jets?
