Or you'll give up something substantial IF you want a RB this year. But you have little to offer that the Redskins want, except for things you won't offer. That's my point, no deal will get done. This is a funny thing to you?

Why's that? Because he get mad when something new that's Jets related comes up and shits on the guy that reported is because it hasn't actually happened yet?

Betts is indeed better than any RB that may start for your team. Of course, this is from the same gang of folks that insist that LC is still a better WR than Santana Moss, so what do you expect of their opinion of Betts? :)

Apparently, the 'Skins don't feel Betts is a "starting caliber RB". They are trying to talk a washed up Stephen Davis into coming out of retirement.

A first round pick or D'Brickashaw for Betts.

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports free agent RB Stephen Davis (Panthers) has reportedly been contacted by the Washington Redskins in the wake of the shoulder injury suffered by Redskins' RB Clinton Portis (shoulder).

Why is there a thread on this? Didn't we JUST trade for Kevan Barlow?

I still find it funny that the mods left foreskins in the title after merging.

what are you high on? id love some please! blaylock is the only rb on the roster who has proven to be able to play in the nfl. even with the addition of barlow (id rather have duckett), blaylock is the best rb on the roster (aside from curtis who is not on the field).

RobA - I love ya buddy, but you are without a doubt the patron saint of lost causes. Barlow/Betts is a much better combo than Houston/Washington. Betts is a really good player. If we add him to the current group, we would have a very solid 1-2 punch with Washington added in occasionally (with heavy doses of LW on Special Teams). Assuming we give up nothing significant, this would be a stellar pickup. Don't dismiss this move out of hand.

KOWIE----I have to disagree///Houston is the best back on the team befor Barlow was added... He can run between the tackles and now cust it outdise with the weight loss over the off season. Blaylock....just falls down after contact....the reason why he is "proven" in the NFL is because he played with an ELITE line in KC. Lets see him grind it out for 16 games, not gonna happen
