    3/5s of our oline makes the probowl yet they are the reason why Sanchez sucked this year? Apparently real Nfl fans don't think so. Can't wait till Sanchez makes the probowl in the Cfl.

    Dalton had a better QB rating and gained a playoff berth. TD ratio, yards and completions were nearly equal.

    Neither deserve it but the ginger gets the nod, barely.

    Again, anyone who thinks the line was the problem is nuts. We have 4 solid players on the o-line, and 1 liability (although even with Hunter, i am not sure he is as bad as many think)..

    i have no idea how our offensive line is making it to the probowl... they were awful this year which shows that 1. probowls are a joke and 2. one weak link (hunter) makes the whole offense look bad

    Moore didnt allow a sack until the season finale in MIA. Who would blitz toward to Moore when Hunter is there so I think Hunter patted Morre's stats a bit.

    Holy fuck, dude. Do you really know so little about offensive line play? Or are you really that obsessed about Sanchez? Hunter was putrid. Do you even watch the line on game day? I'm beginning to think you don't.

    Got to agree with Abyzmal on this one.

    If we were one dimensional (great passing, no running game or great running game, no passing game) you could say well the offensive line is doing something right so the QB or RB is at fault.

    Not only couldn't we do anything running or passing the ball consistently this year but we did a great job of running the ball and a pretty good job of passing the last two years in a row when some other guy (Woody) was starting at RT.

    Therefore, not only can we call attention to the poor play of our OL but we can also single out the X-factor (Hunter) and question whether the oldest player on the line (Moore) coming off hip surgery may have dropped a notch or two.

    Greene is no all star but the guy costs less than $1 mil per year so we got what we paid for there. Sanchez is no savior but could improve. I would like to hold on to both guys but it would depend on the cap and what else is out there. As for Hunter, I cut him without thinking twice.

    You're delusional. I've seen you post several times in other threads about your hard-on for Wayne Hunter and it blows my mind. You're the perfect example of a fan who watches football without actually watching and paying attention to the game. Wayne Hunter is the worst starting offensive lineman I have ever seen since I've been watching the NFL.

    The FO was completely duped into believing he could hold that spot down towards the end of the year last year. We have 3 solid players on the o-line, a very average player in Slauson and an extreme case of suck at RT.

    Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the "problem" isn't the OL but the QB? A QB who makes good pre-snap reads and gets rid of the ball fast can make a bad/mediocre OL looke a lot better than it is. A QB who can't make pre-snap reads and holds the ball too long will make even a good OL look worse than it is.

    Wanna swap OLs? You can have the Bills OL and we'll take yours, even Wayne Hunter and that Vlad Ducasse dude. Fitzpatrick would give a reasonable imitation of Jim Kelly and Freddie Jackson would resurrect the ghost of Thurman Thomas if they had an OL as good as the Jets have!

    Huh? When have I said that Hunter was a good player last year? All I have said is that maybe he is not as bad as he played last year. And that a real qb would make even Wayne Hunter look good.

    I realize it is fun to post non-sense without either a) reading people's whole posts, or b) comprehending what you read, but come on. I have never said Hunter was even remotely good last year. Nor have I even said he should be back next season.

    I actually agree with you about the line. We have 3 solid players, one very serviceable player, and a hole at RT. Never once have I disagreed. My point is always that the o-line has a lot of talent, and that they are not to blame for what happened last year.

    you need to calm down a little bit.

    i was not defending sanchez. however, sanchez had the same problems last year and we had better oline play. and we only sent 2 to the pro bowl last year. this year, it got worse and we sent 3.

    better = 2
    worse = 3

    do you see how it might be hard to imagine now?

    thanks for the little bills tidbit at the end i guess. maybe you guys should have invested the 59 million building your oline rather than fitz.

    The o-line has a lot of talent. You make it seem like we're overflowing with talent. If we are...where the fuck is it?

    You cant ask guys to block for 5+ seconds on every play and to make sure every blitzer is accounted for on every passing play. The qb has to throw it quicker and make adjustments.

    As for the running game, its hard to run when teams stack the box. Very hard.

    Could they have played better? Sure. But I guarantee that if the Jets had the best LT, LG, C, RG, RT in the NFL last year, they would still be getting killed. And it would not be their fault..

    Well clearly you are a victim of your own case. In another thread you said I should go back to sucking Sanchez’s dick simply because I would rather not sign Manning but build an actual team that isnt hanging on the thread of one players neck. So once again, GTFO.

    I dont know if you’ve seen Hunter get manhandled by players who weigh 80 lbs less than him, but it happened on a weekly basis. He is absolute garbage and no QB can make him look good. Its as simple as that. He isnt a starter on any NFL team. He would make Brady look human and vulnerable.

    I am confused, what is your point? I have said that Hunter should be gone.

    At the same time do I think he has a role in the NFL? Based on his history, the answer is yes, as a back-up. And, maybe if you gave him an NFL caliber qb to protect, he might not look as bad as he did. But do not take that to mean that I want to see that experiment play out next year even with Manning.
