ESPN, NFL network, and just about any other media agency would LOOOVE for the Jets to be in the playoffs right now. Could you imagine another week of media madness leading up to a patriots divisional game (assuming we beat houston in the wild card round)

getting rid of Son of Marty certainly brightened the days for we Jet fans as we wait the long dark months until the draft.

Hopefully we get two more brighteners before the Superbowl

    1) the Packers thumping the Midgets this weekend

    and

    2) the Cheating Douchebags getting bounced out of the playoffs also, hopefully with a major injury to Brady

No one said they were happy about what is happening lately, I am just stating it is a fact. I have lived in the DC area all my life. Sometimes I could watch ESPN all day and not see a Jets highlight on a Sunday! Now they are everywhere nationwide. Maybe those who don't live in the NY area can appeciate it more.

This is such an incorrect myth. So many people claim Rex made the Jets "relevant". They've been relevant since Parcells was the coach.

The Jets made the playoffs 5 times between 1998 and 2008. That's pretty solid and FAR from an irrelevant franchise. Certainly not a "joke". They were also 9-7 the year before he arrived. He didn't inherit a 4-12 team.
